The only 3 known performances (in the 60's) of FITR are:
1. Original promotional film. 2 versions (Colour & B/W) to promote the single release (Sep 1967)
2. Jazz Bilzen (Late 1968) 2 versions (Live & Overdubbed)
3. Colour Me Pop (4th Jan 1969) 2 Versions (Live & Overdubbed)
The only other performances (UK) AFAIK were: Top of the Pops (7th Sept) WIPED Where It's At (Southern TV)(15th Sept) UNKNOWN

This was for a DVD for private use. I assume that would be a 'clean' one. There was no option for a timecoded/watermarked one.

I was just quoted £150 from "ITV sales" for 'New Faces' November 1967 featuring Amen Corner which i have been wanting to see for years, but that sort of money is a bit over the top. Prices really need to come down in this digital age and archives made easily accessible

An update on the 18/04/1974 Top of the Pops at the BFI.
Here's the reply i've had on this show:
"We hold a viewing copy of 18/4/74 but it is listed merely as Inserts, with no further details."

Was 'On the Run' the same promo as we are familiar with or something different?

According to the Abba on TV site this clip was never broadcast because of a strike - possibly the reason it was never a hit. If it was never broadcast how then did the seller get it? Obviously that can't be true otherwise it wouldn't have been recorded in the first place as this is an off-air home recording. Somebody's got their facts wrong on this.

Re the reply from the B.F.I whats the point of them listing the program if they dont have it in the archive. Looks like all the 'finds' at the B.F.I could be a wild goose chase Agreed that this makes research very frustrating, however once in a while there are finds to be made such as 22/11/73 recently found in the BFI archive.. I was assured that the 'majority' of items listed in the 2 BFI databases are physical holdings and only a few like 25/12/65 are just listings. It's always worth checking

I've had a reply and unfortunately this does not reside at the BFI. It's just an archive listing not a physical holding.
If anyone has seen that clip of Ken Dodd - Tears that was supposed to have been included in a documentary could they please check to see if it was the totp appearance, unfortunately i've misplaced the reference i had to it. The person was pretty sure it was the totp performance though.

I've been told that the "Ken Dodd - Tears" appearance was shown in a documentary either a DVD or on TV a few years back.

Been having a gander through the BFI database again and came across this entry- Top of the Pops '65 (Christmas Show) I have sent an e-mail to the BFI to try and find out if this exists or it is just a listing of a missing show. ftvdb.bfi.org.uk/sift/title/647091?view=credit

28/11/74 & 18/04/74 are partial shows only (inserts) that are held at the BBC. I don't know what versions the BFI have though.

Yes credit where credit is due, TOTP2 is back to it's best with 'fresh' clips and some useful facts, although last nights did have 1 which didn't really fit or belong on it and lasted for '21 seconds' too long IMHO

Very disappointed with that tracklist. It could have/Should have been much better than that. The first half of the DVD is more or less exactly 'Kinks at the BBC' which was shown last year. and where was 'Death of a Clown' (TOTP)
