This is all old news really I'm afraid:-) 'Vjoew' was first credited as being the source of 'Autumn Almanac' ten years ago. BR's 2002 release 'Remember The 60's Vol 3' credits the show. Was it also known that Wonderboy was from vjoew aswell Mike? Has anyone checked the archive status of the show though? and looked for more totp performances. I'd be interested to see what that performance of The Move's Fire Brigade comes from for example

I've also stumbled across the sources of the Kinks's 'Autumn Almanac & Wonderboy' on totp. They are from a dutch tv show called Vjoew' which also has some other interesting performances from the likes of 'The Who, Tee-set, Tyranosaurus Rex, Paper Dolls, Bee Gees, Doors, Jimmy James & the Vagabonds, Geno Washington, Tommy James & Shondells.
The edition that has 'Wonderboy' on it also has The Move 'Fire Brigade (13-5-68). One of the presenters was apparently John Peel (1967) Wonder if there are any more totp performances on this show?

While checking more of my notes from years ago i came across this possible TOTP clip Madeline BELL 'We're So Much In Love' from 23/7/1970. It's difficult to make out from the BBC database if it's TOTP or Disco 2. Which way do others read it? Here's the entry
>>>>>MUSIC: Soft Machine 'Neo Caliban Grides' (3m00s) Marmalade 'Can You Help Me' (3m58s) Alexis KORNER 'Blues' (1m18s) & 'Rock Me' (1m06s) Dave SWARBRICK 'Folk Tune' (30s) Library film: Ex Top of The Pops: The Rolling Stones 'Honky Tonk Women' (32s) Madeline BELL 'We're So Much In Love' (35s) Ex Disco 2 (tx'd 04.04.1970): Fairport Convention 'Sir Patrick Spens' (33s) <<<<<<<<

Dear Steve ASM here. I posted titles of both clips more than once on other parts of the forum, but I don't mind repeating. The Wings is "Mary had A little Lamb" TOTP with mock farmyard set. I gave FULL description to Keith Badman for his BEATLES book. Hurricane Smith is "Who Was It?" again TOTP . I played tape using monochrome set first. That way you can tell if a tape carries a pulse without trying to copy first (Try It!) And who pray do you think Mr Badman received the list of DISCO/TOTP clips from? I actually shelled out 90DM per tape buying each individual DISCO show in full. Legally I had to return it as it WASENT "Disco Pick Up's" but another compilation they sent by mistake. I have Informed the B.B.C and they are "Hopefully"! taking it up with ZDF. That's the honest truth, I swear to it! ASM While trawling through my notes on ZDF Disco i was reminded of this thread back in 2003. Did the clips of : Wings- Mary Had A Little Lamb (TOTP) and Hurricane Smith - Who Was It (TOTP)....ever get followed up?

The 'Nostalgia' website does include the PF and PH information they have been included in the 'full shows' section. But since they are not complete i have now added them to the orphan section as well. There are a few more recoveries like the stones 19th... that need adding but as with all things time is a major constraint. I will endevour to update some of it over the coming week hopefully.

The only other UK tv show i know they appeared on was 'Lift-Off' doing Chinatown.
They did a mini-tour of Germany and some other euro tv promos in November 1971 so it's possible that they may have performed Chinatown over there aswell
Wasn't there a recent recovery of Lift-Off inserts discovered? perhaps!
