I think this is up to individuals or a group of individuals to attempt to obtain these clips since there is money involved, rather than involve KAL at this stage. I believe that there needs to be multiple bids to obtain each show, not £20 and that's it.

I've been informed that 31/3/77 is in a very good condition. It's down to the BBC that they are refusing to show it. If more people would complain about this to the BBC now, then perhaps they might change their mind and show it on the 12th April. After the 12th, it's probably a lost cause. faq.external.bbc.co.uk/templates/bbcfaqs/emailstatic/emailPage

Here's the second response i've got back from the BBC "Thanks for contacting us. We're sorry to hear you were unhappy with the response you received from us. Our schedules are only confirmed 10 days in advance and even then may be subject to change, and although the programme you refer to is not scheduled in this time frame, there is nothing to say that it will not be scheduled at some time in the future. All our confirmed schedules can be found by visiting www.bbc.co.uk/programmes and using the search facilities provided there. We aim to make information available on our website wherever possible because we know that information about our programmes and content is important to our audience. We try to make the most requested information available, and in most cases can advise where it can be found, but in practice it's impossible to provide answers to everything that people ask us about. The BBC is committed to ensuring that as much of the Licence Fee as possible is spent on making programmes. In order to provide best value to our audiences we cannot always undertake to research individual answers to the many unique enquiries we receive each week. This is why we were unable to provide the specific information you requested. We hope that you understand the reasons for this. We do however capture the details of all enquiries we receive on our database, and we regularly provide reports to programmes on the nature and type of these enquiries, with a view to encouraging better provision of information that audiences are requesting. Thanks for taking the time to contact us."

I've just send another e-mail asking for more information on this lacluster response they have given.
If others on here have more direct contacts at the BBC then perhaps it would be the best time to contact them, after 31/3/77 has been missed out, the chance of it ever being shown will be pretty remote.

Heads up for this. Apparently BBC4 are not going to screen the recently recovered 31/3/77 (from David Hamilton's collection). as part of the 1977 series of re-runs.
What is the point of having these recoveries only to get locked up in an archive never to be seen again.
I've just fired off another e-mail to the Beeb asking why they are not intending showing it. If we all do the same then perhaps they may relent.
