Nice clip - the animation worked well.
Don't be overly modest - I liked the composite too !

Yes, if anyone locates this please let us know.
I wonder if something like this could ever be featured as a DVD extra?

Part 2 (and Part 1) were posted on Nov 5, 2008 by DNS115 - www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sy7HJcW-BGAbut, Part 1 is now unavailable and a third Part is missing. Is this piece of Jon Pertwee DW-related history widely known or even available today?

I know that The Invasion DVD (2006) included extras - Animation Trailers (for The Invasion), Character Design & Flash Frames.
But, does anyone know if a copy of the Cosgrove Hall's "Power of the Daleks" animation work survives anywhere?

In his last scene in the Cybership, the Doctor (wearing his karakul), is saying “It's far from being all over.” - this is in one of the surviving clips of TP4.
Then, in another surviving clip - when he is in the TARDIS working the controls, he is still wearing his hat before he collapses on the floor & it falls off.
As Richard Bignell said earlier, we do not see the Doctor outside getting from the Cybership to the TARDIS.

A couple of things to comment on: 1 - I know it’s very dramatic, etc. to have the Doctor “hatless” outside in the wind & snow in the Thetamation showreel animation, but in TP4 he was wearing a KARAKUL ! - yes, I had to look it up - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karakul_(hat) - in the cybership & in the TARDIS before the regeneration 2 - yes I'm stoking the rumour mill, but a friend of mine from the UK has heard that the next animations of missing episodes will be: The Tenth Planet The Underwater Menace - might explain the delay in releasing UM2 The Ice Warriors

Have a gander at the Thetamation showreel from the group that are animating The Reign of Terror - you can see some animation for another Missing episode planet55studios.com.au/Maybe UM2 will be on that DVD release.

hi people, been lurking for years, always enjoy this forum.
Been away for a bit & behind in the "news" so forgive my Q - has it been announced that the Loose Cannon compilation recon for Galaxy 4 will be part of the Air Lock (The Aztecs - Special Edition) release? or . . . are my wires crossed & the only news is that it will be shown as part of the BFI, Missing Believed Wiped event next week ?
Thanks for any clarification, h

Can someone please clarify the difference between
an original 16 mm print - done by the BBC in the 60s?
a "dupe" 16 mm print - unauthorized copy in the 80s?
are there any other kind of DW 16 mm prints out there?
lastly, what about the 8 mm stuff?

Although it says Part 5 of the Zarbi serial from 1965, the title is
'The Centre' - which is Episode 6 of The Web Planet
