45 would be my guess. The surviving footage from this show has some very minimalistic backgrounds in them.

Ray, My reasearch on this suggested that it is from 19th Oct 67 and is listed on my site as such. homepage.ntlworld.com/e.watkins/musictv/interest.htmThe clip turned up in holland maybe an insert from a tv show there? I know that the clip was original broadcast on 5/10/67 but was repeated on 19/10/67. This along with the foundations clip suggest it may be from 19/10/67. I've been unable to track down any other info on this clip and am not 100% that it's an orphan. 19-10-67:Jimmy Savile & Tony Blackburn DAVE DEE, DOZY, BEAKY, MICK & TICH – Zabadak! (Still Exists) VAL DOONICAN – If The Whole World Stopped Loving THE BOX TOPS – The Letter (Go-Jo’s) THE FOUNDATIONS – Baby Now That I’ve Found You (Still Exists) THE HERD – From The Underworld THE SEEKERS – When Will The Good Apples Fall TRAFFIC – Hole In My Shoe JOHN WALKER – If I Promise THE BEE GEES – Massachusetts Over to someone who may know more.......

that picture is definitely from late 1971 as at the time of "Black Night" on TOTP the 'cage' set was still being used. The backdrop on that day was a psychedlic affair. Regards Mark I see from an old thread on here that the clip which circulates as Fireball TOTP '71 isn't. Anyone know which programme it is from? If you mean this one... www.youtube.com/watch?v=yL40pQ2XGSYThen that's from Disco 71 (German Tv)

This has been in the archive for a long time. I've been waiting years to see that Amen Corner footage of 'World of Broken Hearts', i would love that to be made available someday.

John There's not a lot more i can add than has been said by my fellow forum members here except that i find it most upsetting that you have been abused by people who have no regard for your feelings and about tapes that are your personal property.

A decade ago, I checked the group's BBC contract files and could not find any record whatsoever of the clip's sale to either of those stations. Sending isolated clips from TOTP abroad was a common occurence back then and thankfully, many still survive to this day. There lies the problem, there are no/poor written archives that detail what was sold/supplied back in the 60's. Such a pity since it makes it almost impossible to find these clips without a starting point.
