The only place I trust for forthcoming releases from Network, is Network's official site. Until I see it on there for pre-order I refuse to believe everything else. You can't even trust their magazine adverts. There was a full page ad in one of the gay mags months ago for Connie but they hit a rights issue that has only just been cleared. It could so easily have been scrapped.
Some releases though can almost be taken for granted. If they have released 3 or more series from a drama or sitcom chances are the rest are coming but even then it's not guaranteed.

Hi,Steven, I know what you mean. There have been a fair few repeated deferments of release dates this year, and sometimes frustratingly particular shows seem to come to a halt after a few series have been released. But thank heaven that Network are around. They really have released a lot of good stuff,as well as shows that appeal to people other than myself. At the moment, they seem to be releasing some DVDs at a week's notice, after being in the pipeline for years. John.

I've noticed that Network will also be releasing the first series of Fraud Squad next year.

Unlikely, but wouldn't it be lovely if they found colour copies?
Added: Looks as though colour copies of all the series one episodes have always been safe and sound.

Great news! Network Distributing have just acquired home entertainment rights to 450 British titles from the StudioCanal library.

Are these just film titles, Gary, or are there also more ABC TV programmes included in the 450? Hopefully the latter!

It looks like it's just film titles, Laurence. Network Distributing are apparently working on new transfers for some of the films & will start releasing titles in cinemas & on home release from April 2013. Titles include studio pictures by Associated Talking Pictures, Ealing, London Films, British Lion, Associated British Picture Corporation & EMI. Please feel free to post the 'Network acquire 450 British Film Titles etc' story as I don't know how to do attachments myself!
