It certainly seems that they've found alternate prints for the subtitled copies (as well as located the odd missing ep)! This has happened with a few other ATV shows too so it's looking promising. Very much looking forward to seeing this one out as I remember it originally.

I for one would love to see 'The Ruffian On The Stair / Funeral Games.'

The series runs to about 13 x 50 minute episodes so that price is probably comparable to other shows of the same length (I expect it will be discounted in some places). The 1st April date may just be a default provisional one though, until it's been sorted out.

I think the date is right; the 650 discs relates to 650 minutes rather. I was sort of hoping that the price might reflect extra work put in with regard to sourcing prints.Just a thought.

Ah, yes. Reading very quickly, I overlooked that bit! I was expecting it to say "minutes" rather than "discs"! I thought you were querying the 650 minutes running time and that you were assuming 25 minute episodes rather than 50, and therefore the running time was a bit long (which it was but for different reasons than what I thought!).

More good news from Network: the forthcoming DVD release of 'Squirrels' networkonair.com/shop/1703-squirrels-the.html includes those second and third season episodes which were previously missing. There's a thread on this at the Mausoleum Club, where there's a discussion about the continued quest (if I've got it right) for a first season episode which was thought to exist on NTSC. Generally, great news!

Wonderful news; Network are continuing with the release of 'The Wheeltappers' and Shunters' Club',as well as 'Indoor League'. I know at least one person who'll be pleased about that.
There are several other July releases listed; just go to the bottom of the Home page, click through all the June releases, then click on the arrow on the right to see July's.

I just recently finished watching Mrs.Thursday myself as well. Something I didn't think I'd get the chance to see again! A charming series that is out of the usual genres and I'm pleased Network are bringing on series two so swiftly.

I'm very much hoping to find a Mrs.Thursday in my stocking, come Christmas.
But back to missing episodes.Since you've watched them now, could you tell us if all the episodes are free of burnt-in subtitles?
Cheers,John.
