The TOTP database lists a David Gates solo studio performance of "If" from 8/7/71. Don't know if any of the other band members appeared with him though. Thanks for searching that out ! I know that David made a couple of 'promotional' visits across to the UK without the rest of the band so I'm guessing this was one of those ... tho' "If" was a good few months old by that stage ... As for dear ol' Telly's version ... the less said ;-P |
