Yeah, that'd be the same guy who holds a 70mm Technicolor version of "The Feast of Steven"! ;D

Hehehehehehe ;D ;D ;D That was me taking the mick, Steve. And... Lawrence of Arabia was shot on 70mm film but you need bags of money for it. (Forget the Technicolor reference - just taking the "P" as I said).

Ah, but a hoarder *would* deny hoarding, wouldn't he? Thus, you must be a hoarder...

I was kidding too -- film collectors joke -- they only printed Technicolor in 35mm and 16mm, so rather than saying that the BBC didn't do T/Rs in color and/or 70mm, I just said that 70mm Technicolor doesn't exist... BTW Lawrence was indeed done in 70mm, but the 70mm prints weren't in Technicolor... I guess I have a dry sense of humor...

Film collectors/film makers - whatever... I guess we can all share the same sense of humour.
Yep - you're right. It wasn't Technicolor - Cinemascope wasn't it? Oh, sod it - I forget who it was...

LanceM , according to the RT website he has been officially called a hoaxer, with Paul Vanezis stating that he had no episodes that he claimed to have had. Pity.

Whether hes a hoaxer or not, I think Lance did a good job getting that much info out of him. Shame that hes still keeping the buyers name quiet if it isnt a hoax.

Bullocks Rubbish and Nonsense..
Lance has done exactly what the "seller" wanted -- spread the rumors in public. Why do you think that Paul V. didn't post this same information (he's had that same list for over a week) -- because the whole thing is a load of rubbish.
There is no American buyer, there are no missing episodes -- there's NOTHING. This guy just gets his kicks out of winding up excitable fans...

He sent this same "information" to a number of people... He WANTED that information to get out - so it clearly was not hard for Lance to get it...

Well the seller did refuse to give the names of the other episodes he had, for a time. And, did anyone else e-mail the guy to see if he would give the titles of the other films he had. And Hoaxes R Us: How do you know he actually wanted the information to leak into the public ? If anyone else has any more information or input on this matter please feel free to leave a response.
Thanks, Lance.
