Grampian always had its own show, Grampian offering that year was: "Ring in the new" , but did broadcast STV show the on new years day at 16.25. I'm guessing that they didn't count down to the new year? I dont understand what you mean? Grampian show started at 11.40pm. An email has been sent to STV so someone will see it tomorrow, so we can get the ball rolling in finding information.

this is not from one of the 65. I cannot seem to find this episode/show on Lost Shows.com, so am unsure if it is from a Missing Episode or an existing episode? the wording underneath the upload is...New Seekers/Eve Graham I Wish 1978 STV clip from New Year Eve Show of Stevie Wonder track. 3 minutes long. Can anyone say if this is from an existing or ME please.. www.youtube.com/watch?v=-YIfMh0DYmAHave been advised that the above is from Out With The Old, In With The New,there were 2 episodes of this, one episode called Some Beautiful Scottish Girls 31/12/78.. the above is from this existing episode, made by Scottish Television, stv, which was introduced by Ian Ogilvy, with Beryl Reid, Aimee McDonald, Janet Brown, Eve Graham, Annie Ross, Marie Gordon Price, Molly Weir, Una McLean, Rikki Fulton, Johnny Vyvan etc. This can be seen in full on youtube, above is around 26.55 minutes. Lost Shows.com says the Missing Episode of Out With The Old, In With The New is 31/12/78 Welcome To The Hogmanay Ceilidh.. which was made by Grampian Television with Johnny Beattie, Alasdair Gillies, Hebbie Gray Band, Isobel James Dancers.

At Number 11 of the 65 is A Dickens Of A Christmas 24/12/78. I have just made a submission to Lost Shows.com which says that the Cast was: Bonnie Langford, Andrew Cruickshank, Marie Gordon Price, Danny Street, Molly Weir. This was made by STV, but I have located it at Grampian. The wording underneath the following upload is..Grampian TV 50th Birthday - Part 2, the 50th was 2011, uploaded 27 April 2013. It is 3.52 minutes long, at 2.20 minutes, is Bonnie Langford, Danny Street and the other lady could be Marie Gordon Price. It is only about 6 seconds long, but may point the way to Grampian holding the whole show? (It is followed by Allan Stewart in drag, saying he had just been working with Calum Kennedy..is this from a ME too?). www.youtube.com/watch?v=aDX6-eccB_M

Is Grampian TV's 1981 comedy series 'it's george' with the late Dundee born comedian George duff us still in existence? When they first showed it it was in a series format. In New Year's Day 1983 it was shown nationally on the new channel 4 with a hour long compilation did grampian prepare the compilation for them? Or did they show it as a best of at first in their region? Does that exist as well

Lost Shows.com says It's George 1983 exists complete. The answer to your question is yes, A Grampian Television production for Channel 4, 50 minutes, 1/1/83, George Dufus, Isla St Clair and Lindisfarne.

Just made a submission to Lost Shows.com for So Many Partings 30/11/67..LS says the only known complete copy was recorded on a domestic video format, hence still listed as Missing. I have located this at the Scottish Screen Archive and have received confirmation from Scottish Screen Archive that they hold this on Digibeta, DVD and VHS. So Many Partings was made by Grampian Television. Description..Traditional songs reflecting emigration, set to scenes of farewells and the old way of life. Forwarded confirmation of format holding, onto Kaleidoscope.

Hi,Simon.I had a feeling I'd heard about this before, but it seems I hadn't,though a former ME stalwart LanceM flagged it up in 2007. missingepisodes.proboards.com/search/results?where_board_subboard=1&what_at_least_one=partings&when_days=9999&who_only_made_by=0&display_as=0 It reinforces the feeling that there may be masses of leads on these boards, which haven't been followed up. I-finally-submitted something directly to Kal a few weeks before Christmas.I've heard nothing since, and I've forgotten what the programme was!

John re: So Many Partings..Kaleidoscope say..'we have it. We found the original 1500 cassette that all the viewing copies have come from since. The digibeta is a 2" transfer from a 2" we returned ten years ago'. That would be 2004-5. Now have I located what could now be the earliest surviving STV footage of Rikki Fulton? Or does stv hold something earlier than this? Do they have this themselves? For at the Scottish Screen Archive is.. Title: [ALHAMBRA THEATRE, GLASGOW] Ref Number T1060 Date: 1971 Production Company: Scottish Television. Sound Colour Running Time 7.49 minutes. Description: Report on the sale of the now defunct Alhambra Theatre in Glasgow. History of Alhambra Theatre with Bill Tennent reminiscing on the heydays of the Alhambra, Glasgow, for sale, exterior with sale sign. Interiors and posters, with Bill Tennent remembering the good old days; personalities mentioned include Jimmy Logan, Harry Secombe [blank section at 3.00 lasting about 55 seconds] (5.58 Rikki Fulton interview to 7.49). ssa.nls.uk/film/T1060 The Alhambra Theatre seems to have been closely intertwined with the early days of stv, with many stars appearing there, later getting their own shows on stv, eg Alec Finlay, Jack Radcliffe, Jimmy Logan and www.en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Francie_and_Josieit says on this wiki, that Ethel Scott, who appears in William's excellent post of last night, was Rikki Fulton's first wife..
