Was quite popular in the UK through her sitcom (but she was a bulb that quickly went bright then went out so to speak) So this would explain why ATV would have made one of their a 'mid Atlantic' specials

Preconceptions can be misleading. At first,I figured that Sandy was a Scot-Hogmanay and all that-so it was unlikely that it would have been shown in the U.S. Until ten minutes ago,I still pictured her as a bloke...

Paul Lynde was also a regular in Bewitched, & the inspiration for Roger The Alien in American Dad.
