The following is not part of the 65, but as the bfi has a filmographic record for this, but no film or video held, I have sent this to Kaleidoscope to ask them to find out if it is Missing from the Scottish Television archive. It is an episode from the Scottish Television documentary series Present Grandeur. The bfi attributes the year 1960 to the episode filmographic record. Present Grandeur is not on Lost Shows.com, so cannot check it's Missing or Existing status.. it is complete at 25.16 minutes and was uploaded by the Isle of Islay. www.youtube.com/watch?v=TbPO7PXEkPEThat was deffo not made in 1960, its has to be made from 1966-1969. One Tony currie, who was had of STV presentation give out details years ago about when and what STV used

This is not one of the 65, but it was made by STV, although Grampian is the ident at the beginning. Just made a submission to Lost Shows.com for Andy's Party. 25/4/79 with Eve Graham and Danny Finn (missing). The following was uploaded by STVEntsAndComedy on 21 September 2010..Andy's Party with Eve Graham and Danny Finn. 24.37 minutes long. www.youtube.com/watch?v=lsv5TRYjaPYLost Shows.com says Andy's Party 20 episodes made, 19 are Missing, so this episode located today has doubled the number of existing episodes.

Hi Simon, Regarding STV show number 2 on your list of 65... It looks as though Lost Shows have unfortunately got their dates wrong for the 1st series of The Further Adventures of Francie and Josie as the wording on Jack Milroy's arm which you won't be able to decipher states (Two delightfully funny comedians, Rikki Fulton (left) and Jack Milroy star in a NEW series "The Adventures of Francie and Josie" starting on Friday Night (which would make the 1st episode the 26th October 1962)... The article/pictures come from the Scottish TV magazine The Viewer dated (20th October 1962)Now, regarding Francie and Josie, I don't want to duplicate information, so please refer to my thread entitled The Further Adventures of Francie and Josie.in this article it mentions the script writer as STAN MARS. cheers William

STV claims at least 37 were made, going by this: www.youtube.com/watch?v=c86-tiB9YS4 I agree with them, Alas LOST TV has dates from Scottish Television, included for 1979 broadcast and not the original Grampian broadcast dates if you look at the Glasgow Hearld TV times: news.google.com/newspapers?nid=GGgVawPscysC since the The times is not great, another series of Andy's party went out in Grampian in Oct - Dec 1980.

It was a pure chance, STV broadcast a clip of the 1982 show last night on its New year show. Enquire will be off to STV in early January, since its archive are pretty good, but many will have been wiped.
I do believe the Fire in 1969 had nothing to do with the lack of entertainment show from that era, and more to do with the fact STV owner re using tapes. Old joke went along the lines " STV only had to projectors, one to show westerns and the other to show news.

Number 4 of the 65 is The Allan Stewart Tapes, regular cast of Allan Stewart with Jack Douglas. Kaleidoscope has some footage of The Allan Stewart Tapes in the Bob Monkhouse Collection..Kal says, 'only 1-2 minutes, nothing longer sadly'. www.scotsman.com/lifestyle/arts/news-francie-and-josie-among-bfi-lost-scots-tv-episodes-1-3146472Around half way down this newspaper article from last year 17 October 2013, a paragraph begins.. 'STV has no full programmes of The Adventures of Francie and Josie - which ran between 1961 and 1965'. Does this mean that STV has some incomplete programmes of The Adventures Of Francie and Josie, perhaps some sequences, do STV have some footage from this Series after all??? Perhaps Mike would be good enough to find out for us please...

Maybe some of the missing 65 STV programmes were in Librarian David Norwood's hands? This article is from the Scottish TV magazine (The Viewer) dated the 5th October 1963

The strange thing about the Allan Stewart tapes was it was networked doon south, So you would have throught something would have been kept. The scotman is being misleading. When it comes to The Adventures of Francie and Josie, There is no video clip anywhere in the STV building, STV has looked and I believe there have also looked in the archive warehouse in Glasgow. ( its the south side near STV offices) STV does have a great deal of photos and files etc, some were used in Glen Micheal auto. "one episode exists of The One O’Clock Gang" was only found by ITN in its archives. Garnock way has the first two episodes safe and ep103 and 104 ( 1978)

At number 24 is Hogmanay 31/12/75 lost shows.com has cast as Andy Stewart, Kenneth McKellar, Patricia Hay, Jimmy Blue And his Scottish Country Dance Band. Made by STV. Would Grampian Television have shown the same show! or would they have had their own? at the following www.willstarr.com/grampianhogmanay.phpit says....a copy of the video of the show was very kindly provided by Will Starr's sisters. a 2.30 minute clip is on YouTube, as Will Starr Will Starr died in 1976.

this is not from one of the 65. I cannot seem to find this episode/show on Lost Shows.com, so am unsure if it is from a Missing Episode or an existing episode? the wording underneath the upload is...New Seekers/Eve Graham I Wish 1978 STV clip from New Year Eve Show of Stevie Wonder track. 3 minutes long. Can anyone say if this is from an existing or ME please.. www.youtube.com/watch?v=-YIfMh0DYmA
