The SSA will of course sell copies to the public of most of their holdings although some require third party copyright clearance. These are for private use only and purchasers must sign a document agreeing not to copy the discs.

the following are all completely Missing from the STV archive, not one episode is currently there. Perhaps working together we can change that for some of them please 1. The Adventures Of Floris 4 episodes 1970 tx Yorkshire Television..An English version of a Dutch television series. The debut of Rutger Hauer AND Paul Verhoeven. Did they dub only 4 episodes? I'm glad you mention it. It would make it more accessible to English viewers than the fanmade subtitles of this excellent children's series. Even just the audio would be sufficient because the Dutch original still exists. thank you RWels, I have just made a submission to Lost Shows.com on the basis of you advising us that the Dutch original still exists, but for just one of the 4 on Lost Shows.com, 4.7.70 Burning Water. This was Episode 9 of the original Dutch series Floris and was called The Burning Water, in Dutch, Het brandende water. This is complete at 29.59 minutes, so there is the Picture, it just lacks the English dubbing which has not survived. This picture does give us, a taste of this action series.. www.youtube.com/watch?v=zqt9SC4Tl-8

Just to ask about "ATV" code is on the first post? is that to Lew Grade ATV station? If so it would explain more about STV/atv deal surrounding it peak content. STV offered ATV £1million a year to supply it with network programmes, STV must have thrown in local shows as part of the deal.

More episodes may have existed but may not be on lostshows? I'm surprised anyway that 4 are, since it's a foreign show.

The Battle Of The Comics was made up of 2 series. Series 1 had Steve Jones as the referee. Can anyone advise if this was the same Steve Jones, whose Steve Jones Programme 1980 is in the list of 65 at the start of this thread with all episodes missing please? Fiona Duncan was the Assistant Referee. For Series 2 Carol Meade was the Hostess. Series 1 episodes 29/10/76, 5/11/76 Clem Dane with other comics. 12/11/76 Mr. Abie with other comics. 19/11/76, 26/11/76 Billy Jeffrey with other comics. Series 2 episodes 18/11/77, 25/11/77, 4/12/77 Mr.Abie with other comics. 23/12/77 and 30/12/77. Clem Dane, Mr. Abie and Peter Jeffrey are mentioned above, because I need help and guidance from all, to look at the following, which has been uploaded by Clem Dane himself, and if you could tell us if this 5.19 minute footage is from The Battle Of The Comics, which has all its episodes missing. The other point I would like to ask you all is, does the setting look like a television studio setting rather than a stage setting? And looking at the comics hair styles and clothes..are they contemporary with 1976 or 1977 please? www.youtube.com/watch?v=8sEXNU8fRwg

At Number 44 in the list of 65 is Ring In The New 31/12/74 which was also transmitted by ATV. Just made a submission to Lost Shows where it says..Ring In The New 31/12/74 with Vince Hill, Bill Simpson, Allan Stewart, Eve Graham and Elaine Simmons (missing). I have located the following audio of Eve Graham dueting with Vince Hill on United We Stand. The caption underneath says ' recording of a 1974 New Years Eve Special (ITV) "Ring In The New". ' It is 2.37 minutes long with applause at end. www.youtube.com/watch?v=aBcUsF_YPNk

It is 20.57 minutes long..I do not know if this is a complete episode, not watched it. It is uploaded by STV Scotland. Ident at the start, first appeared around 1960/61. The ident changed in 1965, to the the spinning lion, but the animation was later changed to a simple zoom.

The following is not part of the 65, but as the bfi has a filmographic record for this, but no film or video held, I have sent this to Kaleidoscope to ask them to find out if it is Missing from the Scottish Television archive. It is an episode from the Scottish Television documentary series Present Grandeur. The bfi attributes the year 1960 to the episode filmographic record. Present Grandeur is not on Lost Shows.com, so cannot check it's Missing or Existing status.. it is complete at 25.16 minutes and was uploaded by the Isle of Islay. www.youtube.com/watch?v=TbPO7PXEkPE
