Been trying to get some information on the Harry H Corbett 1968 comedy series "Mr Aitch". I believe there were 16 or 17 episodes made and apart from Mark lewisohns Radio times book mention the seies seems to have dissapeared without trace. Kal's Lost shows says none of them exist, does anyone know any different?

Just checked the archives. about 90% of Get it Together survives, but not many 'A' list artists appeared on it (sorry Gary, forgot about Slade) Only 15 out of 60 editions of '45' survive in the archive. The earliest one is episode 13 from 26th September 1974. But again, not many 'A' listers on this one either (at least the ones that survive). Some by Bay City Rollers, Showaddywaddy,Manfred Mann, Leo Sayer..... According to Kal's Lost shows all 45's editions exist www.lostshows.com/default.aspx?search=45Assuming that it's the right show, but the time period fits

I'm raising query again to the status of the pre 1975 CORONATION ST archive. Previously I mentioned an episode I recall well from 1973; at the end of this one Elsie Tanner got knoecked down by a car and was seen lying in the road with a trickle of blood from the corner of her mouth. Recall it was a shock episode and disturbed me. I also recently recalled a sad scene in an episode in which viewers were reminded of the Actor who died that played 'Annie Walker's Husband. Actress Doris Speed in Character was shown sighing and looking to one side remembering him; and I'd forgotten him but recalled as he was shown in an overlay playback of an old T/R. The only episode scene I recall specifically I've seen again was Ernie Bishops first scene c. 1968 as a Press photographer. I alway thought that Coronation street was virtually complete bar one or two early episodes as that is one programme Granada cared about

So sad to hear this, I'm glad we have some performances of Dave's to remember him by, be they Blue Peter or TOTP, he always looked like he enjoyed himself and I think that came across in his music. Lets hope some more music clips from this era are recovered before too long and particularly some more DDBMT! I wonder if any of the material that he hinted that he owned(Ready steady, go and others) will now surface as he always seemed reluctant to release archive shows that he had the rights to?

does anyone know if any tv clips survive of ken dodd, val doonican and des o connor doing any of their sixties hits . i haven't seen anything from the sixties of these acts apart from ken dodd with the beatles but it's their hits i'm interested in thanks. Looking through the Kal guide it seems that there is very little of Ken Dodd from the early days, though a couple of Blackpool shows have appeared on e-bay. From the list i assume the ones not listed as missing exist www.lostshows.com/default.aspx?search=ken+dodd

Yes, I think he was meaning any clips of the actual band though. There should, at least, be a few promo films existing with them, I would think. Thanks for your efforts guys, thought there might be some clips from say Soul train out there. My search goes on...

Reading the recent posting regarding remaining top of the pops editions/clips, one of them mentioned one of my favorite soul band of the era "the chairman of the board featuring General Johnson" they are one band who had half a dozen hits or so but there is virtually no attainable footage, bar one grainy clip of a promo film on a beach. I don't know if they ever did the pops, Can anyone point me in the right direction

It's in the archives and on DVD, though possibly OOP now. It is indeed. I've seen it go for silly money on eBay. Available for rental from lovefilm though

Enjoyed the repeat of the Rolf Harris show from 1969 shown on sunday night. Barbara Windsor didn't have a bad voice and who was the strange Russian singer? - still good , Vince Hill was suprisingly listenable( as a kid always thought he was boring). Anyone know if this was a video recording or tele-recording as generally the picture quality was good? or what the archive status is of the shows?
