Reading the recent posting regarding remaining top of the pops editions/clips, one of them mentioned one of my favorite soul band of the era "the chairman of the board featuring General Johnson" they are one band who had half a dozen hits or so but there is virtually no attainable footage, bar one grainy clip of a promo film on a beach. I don't know if they ever did the pops,

Unfortunately, all of the Chairmen of the Board's TOTP appearances and promo film were wiped
, and despite my searches, I can't find any existing outside the BBC (hopefully there are some out there), but here is a list of their appearances, preceded by a Megamix that may be of interest.
There is, however, an existing recording at the BBC of Pan's People dancing to Everything's Tuesday, a very underrated and rarely heard song that I first heard on Radio Luxembourg in the 1980s.
