So why could episode three of Web not be recovered. Same reason all the other missing episodes couldn't, they weren't there.

I'd also like to say a massive thank you to Philip Morris, When I set up Missing-episodes.com in the late nineties, this was the news I was dreaming of hearing, the return of another complete Troughton. Now, not only has he done exactly that with Enemy of the World, but he's thrown in 4 Web of Fear episodes as well.
Thank you Philip, Thank you.

It is really very good news all round. I still don't understand why the mods, 1) locked threads, even when BBC News covered the news 2) denied that it was happening. were they not in the loop? Time will tell, it always does ...

The selfish, blinkered, insularity of a sizeable minority of Who fans never ceases to astound me. Come on Lee, play nice.

As this can't be proved either way until November and all it's doing in the interim is causing fights then this party is over.

Even if this were to be true, reporting it before it is all sorted is not a very clever thing to do and could torpedo the whole thing.

I found the RSC version a right pain in the eyes but this version is beautiful, it's really worth the money.

So I tried to find a way to contact Christian Junklewitz, the author of the article, but I couldn't find any contact informations whatsoever... As Jon Preddle indicated on Page 5 of this thread, the author of the article has already been contacted. Indeed, no need for anyone else to bother him.

Oh and I've just noticed that someone has what must be the highly pleasurable task of changing the status of Airlock and The Underwater Menace 2 from MISSING to EXISTS on the missing-episodes.com list... That'll be Stuart, I've tried but can't get my FTP to work
