The main advantages to registering are that it reduces identity theft (something we used to have a lot of trouble with) you can set the clock, you`ll know which threads have new posts and you`ll be able to use the personal message system.
Of course you don`t have to register f you don`t want to but it is there if you want.

I don`t know what to say other than this is a great loss for us all, Apart from those who knew him, his life touched us all being responsible for several missing episode recoveries.
He always went out of his way to help those both in the wider scene and here on this site.
very distressing news.

I try to log in using both my current password and the original emailed password. In both cases the result is this: An Error Has Occurred! Invalid username/password combination. Cookies etc. are all enabled. your username is your name (i think) i`ve changed your pass to monkies, so that you can get nack in and fix things.

the default is some weird foreign time and can`t be changed, however members can off set the time in their profile by adding +5 in the little box or whatever the actual difference is.

This has often intrigued me - Apart from yourself, can you remember or do you have a record of the first ever poster to the original Missing-Episodes Forum?; What was the topic he or she posted? and Who is the longest running contributor who still uses the forum today? Well, the 1st message was me saying "Welcome to our new message board" The 1st actual thread was me and Nick M talking about Boyd QC.

Don't like the background colours for the messages. Which colours do you suggest? The Aquafresh look was a quick fix alternative to the black text on a black background that we had for the first 6 hours.
