No, there's no record whatsoever of any telesnaps being taken from The Daleks' Master Plan or any other stories during Wiles' producership. The only episode that for which we don't have the telesnaps but any evidence that they were originally taken is Marco Polo #4. Interesting, thanks.

Does anyone know if the telesnaps for "The War Machines" cover any of the missing footage from episodes 3/4?

Does anyone know if the telesnaps for "The War Machines" cover any of the missing footage from episodes 3/4? Very difficult to say as there isn't any freely available cut version of the episode to compare them to.

I particularly hope that the users of this forum enjoy the magazine. Tom Spilsbury Editor, DWM Great work Tom, can't wait to get my hands on it! It will be great to have the telesnaps for these stories altogether in one issue? Just out of curiosity, are you planning to release all of the surviving telesnaps in further specials?

It's certainly a strong possibility, but we haven't decided yet. It partly depends on whether this volume sells strongly enough, of course. Fingers crossed!

A very nice issue indeed, lovely to see all the Tele-Snaps together. Though only 62 are published for each story which means some are missed out, which is a bit of shame. Nice to some snaps from The Daleks, The Dalek Invasion of Earth and The Web Planet. Were those from the images I sent to you Richard or from Derek Handley directly?

I've just got my hands on this issue and have to say it truly is a masterpiece! The telesnaps are nicely presented alongside with mini bits of story, which really give a true flavour of the stories in question. Congrats also to Richard for the excellent John Cura article. It's so frustrating that there are not more Hartnell telesnaps from missing episodes. It would be interesting to see the ones for the stories in existence though It could also be interesting to have an issue or two dedicated to missing stories which do not have telesnaps. In reference to the above post about some of the slides being absent from the magazine, I really don't feel hard done by. The stories flow well without them Keep up the good work Tom, I hope it sells enough to warrant more issues!!

This is hugely exciting for me. I'll be banging on the doors of WHSmith for my copy, first thing tomorrow morning. I'm a faithful buyer of DWM (since 1979) but I'm not normally a buyer of the specials but, for what it's worth, I would certainly be up for the Troughton years in telesnaps, even if (considering the huge number of missing episodes) it runs to 2 or 3 editions. Please DWM, you know it makes sense!

I've just noticed that the website showcasing Marco Polo's tele-snaps has been blocked, and I've been denied access. I've been asked to send an invitation to discuss this with the author, but cannot find an email.
I know he's on these forums somewhere, and if he is, I'd like to ask if he can shed any light on the reasons for this current situation.

Hope it's just temporary because I've got it promoted on my site!

Hey, yep it's my site. I've taken it down for the time being as I didn't feel it was right to be showing the Tele-Snaps on my site whilst DWM have their latest issue out. As there is nothing else on there currently I decided to just block it to the public, it's still there and it will come back! Unfortunately other work has consumed much of my time lately but when I bring it back I want it to have a couple of pages that I've been working on. Really sorry for any inconvenience but if you need anything just PM me.

Thanks, I'll get it up and running soon but I have quite a few exams heading my way so I won't promise a date. Thanks for linking my site for all this time though, I get quite a lot of views from there!
