Thing is guys we were told porkies the first time ! Now people are not going to believe any denials now are they ! I believe there are more. How many, who knows that answer apart from the people themselves...... A couple of weeks and we should know either way..... Where does this 'couple of weeks' keep coming from?

'Checked' doesn't mean material has been recovered though. He may have known about/expected it for a while but not been able to access it.
That said, if he'd actually found these in the store in person then I am 99.9% sure they'd have been sent by air courier or with him personally.

I was always intrigued by what Sue Malden once said in the 1998 missing episodes documentary, and which I always found strange. She said 'we know they're out there, but finds have started to dry up'.It seems she was right all along-if the rumour is correct then maybe she knew it would only be a matter of time before they were all found,it just needed someone to actually go to these foreign TV stations to bring them back to the BBC archives. She seemed to know the statistics, the number, the fact that they all potentially still existed-even in 1998. You're reading too much into it. ,the fact that they all potentially still existed-even in 1998. There you go.

The problem is that some people a beginning to blur opinions based on rumour with being actual fact. You'll find they're one and the same eventually.Phil Morris is only telling us so much and we're taking it face value.Read between the lines, extrapolate the information he's giving. There have been more finds. What you're essentially saying is you don't know. You only think or believe. That is and has always been my point. I'm not here to try and prove it wrong, because I can prove or disprove. It's all up in the air what might be. I think he may have something or will find something in the future. It's been stated the rampant rumours in fandom held up negotiations and caused problems.

Fact is that you can't prove that Feast was telerecorded, but you can't disprove it either.
Only way you'd ever know is by proving it with a found copy.

I noticed how some of the vile doubters last time were very quiet after the announcement. There is a business strategy as to why they deny everything. I dont believe people once i have been to once ! I believe It's not about doubting. It's about not getting hyped up about something so uncertain. Personally, I think Paul Morris may have more, but what that might be I don't know. Nor can I say 100% that I am right in thinking this is the case.

Trouble is people are being put down for their opinions. Time will tell. We all want the same. Keep the faith The problem is that some people a beginning to blur opinions based on rumour with being actual fact.

Well, there was a guy on tv the other week claiming to be jesus ! Anything is possible. Am sure there will be news soon I didn't say it wasn't possible... I said that the article adds nothing - which it doesn't. This bloke claiming to be Jesus has even less baring on the situation of missing episodes. If anything, all that proves that people go around saying all sorts of daft things which aren't true...

are we 100% sure MARCO POLO has been found ? The fact that you have to ask that question should really tell you that it's a big fat no.

This is fantastic news DMP is a great story so does this mean collectors have had these episodes for decades and now they want to cash in ?? Have you actually read this thread? There is no news in this thread. It's all clearly aimless speculation and hypothetical theories, yet suddenly that makes it all true!

You might be flabbergasted, but if there's a good reason for it (which there probably is) then you're hardly going to get your answer, are you? People often like to think they know how something works, and say this should be done, they should do that, when in fact they have little idea of the situation and possible implications. These are other examples: If you saw the programme about the Tube, you'd appreciate why many things are like they are - closures, delays etc. Yet people are ignorant of this and complain about it - even highly abusive as shown by footage in the programme. Recently there were articles about Concorde. Many people jump on the Branson would have made it work bandwagon and it's easy to get one flying, when if fact if you know anything about it it's all guff. They are ignorant of the situation. People will scoff at the story of an American woman who was paid out $6M over a spilt coffee being too hot. People will scoff, but again they are ignorant of the facts. (No seriously on this one!) I run a business and I often come across 'Armchair CEOs' that tell me I should do this and that. It's mostly idealised and ignorant. No doubt there are lots of situations that are just downright stupid, but I doubt the case of these missing episodes is one of them. We already know about the dangers of Nigeria. We know about the kidnap situation back in 2007. I'd just love it if some people let it be. So there's my little rant over and done with... I'd argue the general public doesn't give a monkey's about any perceived 'messing about'. The first they hear about it is when the BBC makes an announcement. As for the fans . . . A vocal minority are always getting in a self-righteous foaming-at-the-mouth state over various aspects of show...This many times over.

This is a question for those who watched the series originally. Web 1 was much more a fan favorite than Enemy 3. But Im curious why I never heard reports from those who saw the full stories back then that enemy was as much a classic as web. Enemy was always the odd one out in Series 5, lacking monsters and taking on more of a thriller feel. Maybe it was just a little too soon for it to be accepted. Today we watch it with another 45/6 years of Doctor Who behind it in our minds. The programme has evolved and moved into all sorts of territories since then.

The trailer for web of fear and enemy of the world are in HD and was wondring if any classic story's might hit blu ray in the future ? The footage in the trailer isn't HD though. It's just not possible. The format it was exported (and presented) in is HD. Two different things.

Speaking of the picture quality... Enemy looks quite good overall, however Web looks very patchy - episode 6 especially. Was it restored with the normal RT timescale, and is just if poor quality, or was it rushed through for the iTunes release?
If I missed anything answering this before, apologies!
