Considering he's already posted that he'd rather have been first to produce Enemy 6, I think you have it exactly backwards. I dont think you really know the way these two work !

There is a big difference in that one is reactive, the other proactive.

This is descending into a Levine vs Morris debate. Stop it.

I am looking for the bad part to that question..... My answer is.... HELL YES! If I returned a mouldy vinegared knackered print of Power 1, I would feel beyond amazing about it and think it was the best thing ever to happen to me. Then, if someone else showed up with parts 1-6, THAT would be the best thing ever. I wouldn't buy them a pint - i'd buy them a pub! Egos are at play here. You would not want to be over shadowed by your rival.......... I know egos get involved, but if I found one episode of Daleks Masterplan, and another guy found three, that guy Is my hero. Anyone who wants to get their knickers in a twist over this is doing it all for personal glory and not for the sane, sensible reason of just being able to see the things before they are lost forever

This is descending into a Levine vs Morris debate. Stop it. Does anyone know if these 10 were all the guy had? he said he remembered 8 cans labeled Dr Who 1963 1964 Was this maybe a memory of just the keys of Marinus can? Also what about unlabeled cans? Anyone know what the total amount of film cans in the cache is?

AFAIK it's a collector with some Dr Who in his collection. Probably a very small percentage of his total - could be all sorts of things there.

And if they have ben allowed to deteriorate like that over the past 35 years he is not that concerned about his film stock. After all is not his interest primary radio programs?

i really hope that they ask what other stuff this chap has as well as Who. My biggest worry is that the main focus can be on finding Who film and other important film could be over looked. Missing episode of Adam Adamant anyone?

Anyone who wants to get their knickers in a twist over this is doing it all for personal glory and not for the sane, sensible reason of just being able to see the things before they are lost forever Depending upon whether MTTU is included there are eight or nine (excluding FOS) episodes of "Masterplan" still to be found. If another four or five turned up from somewhere that would leave four. This hypothetical three plus one would give a complete story that didn't need animation or telesnap reconstruction. Surely, both recoveries would be equally important and deserving of Gold Blue Peter badges ? What if someone found the two missing episodes of "The Invasion" whilst someone else found TP4 ? The point I'm trying to make is that every recovery, whether large or small, is valuable. Airlock gave us a chilling performance by Stephanie Bidmead that few were aware of - I've never bothered with audios - and UM2 has caused that story to be reassessed. Sometimes size doesn't matter !

I loved airlock.
With this, combined with the part 1 clip and some cgi , there is enough footage to get a good feel for this story and enjoy it.
Of course I love aztecs also. That and Marco polo I believe are the peaks of the historical stories.

I have the Sensorites on DVD,but can't bring myself to watch it as I never enjoyed it on video.Maybe commentary over the top will help me enjoy it.Very much a product of it's time,I just can't engage with it.I even bought the audio book narrated by William Russell, but that was tough going as well and never finished it.

I find the premise of Sensorites "all looking the same", and hence can only be identified by their sash - which is one of the key plot points - a litte weak, given they clearly do not look all the same!! Oh, that and the fact they are affected by loud noise. That said, I did enjoy the first episode - as it was a little weird, not clear what was happening. I enjoy that!

Some scenes are too long (particularly the Sensorites advancing on the companions in the beginning). And the ending was anti-climatic for antagonist Sensorite, and we don't get to see his final scene. They just say he's been defeated. I do appreciate the attempts to add character to Susan though. I loved her scenes.
