So it seems like Enemy of the World and all but one episode of Web of Fear followed by Marco Polo at a later date with more to come after that

Has anyone seen one of these tv-shaped press screening invites? - has a scan been posted? You actually doubting that detail Justin? I know I'm the only one, but I'm still sceptical because the newspaper/radio times articles were just repeating the rumours... the press conference will be the clincher for me - but the newspaper article seemed to indicate that their info was from a source rather than the BBC (or BFI) PR dept. Only a day before we find out for sure though Has anyone from the usual official circles expressed any kind of confirmation yet? (Paul, RT members, Phil, BBC etc)?

Goodness me! That is so many shades of awful I cannot, for the life of me, begin to describe it. EDIT: Apologies if it's your own work I'm dissing. Didn't mean to sound so judgemental (I'm a singer and guitarist and just, like, brain-farted my gut reaction...).

I'm not as Doctor Who bonkers as you guys but i hope this works out well for you. Personally i'm still hoping for The Magnificent Ambersons directors cut but if these Who rumours are even half true and in light of the discovery of the alternate edit of Metropolis and the 3 Stooges film then perhaps i can upgrade my optimism. Radio 5 has just reported the Who story but from the newspaper not from the BBC so to speak. Good luck.

Im hopeful that this is true, but it does seem to be another rehash of the same rumours.. just with slight additions... There still seems to be no comfirmation, so until any official announcement im still doubtful.

So it seems like Enemy of the World and all but one episode of Web of Fear followed by Marco Polo at a later date with more to come after that I've read that it may be The Savages and Evil Of The Daleks that the BBC are already in posession of. In any case we will find out Tuesday if there is any truth to it all...

Didn't mean to sound so judgemental (I'm a singer and guitarist and just, like, brain-farted my gut reaction...). No problem I appreciate the honesty- the idea was to re-record it in a more commercial vein for an annoucement but it looks like there won't be time - will direct you to the fully realised version if and when it appears. (an if you can put up with it for a 3rd time!)

I really don't doubt it anymore and if it turns out to be complete crap then by all means flog me and have me shot.

Wasn't there a feller, perhaps with learning-disabilities,who was being ridiculed for posting a premature celebration on Youtube?

Wow, what a flap! Last time I looked this thread was a fizzer. Well, here's hoping for two "new" Troughtons, but I won't be too sad if it isn't true. There's still plenty of existing Who I haven't seen yet. Disgraceful. Unless you mean the new show. And perhaps a few Tom Bakers. And 'Four to Doomsday'. And... Though I remember 'Marco Polo' being very good.Catch it if you can.

Go on holiday to the gold coast and the dam bursts!! Wife giving me very piercing looks as i remain glued to the posts for updates . One observation. In the past moderators removed any posts that mentioned "sources" as it was just speculation. Now the pages are full of them. I think this tells you something that this time is THE time for the big reveal. 7:00am wed morning for me. Bring it on Tell us more. How far downriver was she swept while you were online? Hee hee. Seriously, there must be some find virgins out there who haven't heard the news yet.How do we break it gently to them?
