I see that the R2 release of Tenth Planet has been moved to Oct 14th according to Sainsburys and Zavvi. No change on the Amazon or bbcshop websites though. If true, that would mean no DVD release in November. Curious... I remember reading on the Internet that Dan Hall supposedly has a Dream Release DVD for this year. Has that come out already?

Since they are at the bottom of the barrel in terms of what exists and is available for release, there wasn't a whole lot of choices left.

Apparently Kasterborus site are suggesting an announcement on missing eps is "imminent". Never gone on their site. Are they remotely reliable? It seems they're regurgitating the stuff from three months ago re coming soon trailer on "Zygons" so i've probably answered my own question there. Sigh. 66 days of speculation to go!

So a rumour of an announcement turns out to be untrue. Hmm it gives an idea of how reliable these rumours are..........

Indeed. The rumours now seem to be simply feeding on each other and using each other as "evidence". All rotating in ever decreasing circles. Final implosion imminent perhaps?

Hmm it gives an idea of how reliable these rumours are.......... the september 17th announcement was only a joke from the planet mondas forum, which got tweeted by outpost skaro and then brought up on gally base - so it was never really going to happen - if something has been found then i would think an announcement would be made just before the next missing believed wiped event

Yes, the root of this 17th rumour is quite clear - unlike that of the rest of it.
Not saying it's any more credible, but don't throw all of the rumours into the same pot as such.

Tbf as soon as I saw a few mutterings about the '17th September announcement' I presumed it should be taken with a pinch of salt. If and I really do mean 'if' we have an announcement at some point I would expect there to be serious activity and lots of mutterings beforehand on twitter amongst people with a genuine connection to the programme/DWM etc. If we get to that stage then any delicate negotiations etc. would have been completed and there would be excitement in the air.
There are 2/3 individuals on twitter who on a day to day basis are saying we'll be having an imminent announcement - how many timesdto they have to be proved wrong before they get the hint?? <laughs> as far as I am aware these people do not have a connection to the show in any form, but you can understand why their followers will get excited only for it to crash down - and play that in repeat.
Sit tight, if it's going to happen it will. Doesn't mean you can't dream of course
