My Dad used to make audio recordings from 45 and Top of the Pops in 1974. He recorded Alvin Stardust singing 'Red Dress' and a interview with Kid Jensen afterwards.

The audio tape still survives apparently -I haven't heard the tape , so I have no idea if the tape will still play after 48 years!

I think that's potentially interesting, TOTP, still a lot missing from 1974.
