Hi William ,if possible could you please have a look next time you do your research in the newspapers on the xmas day 1974 edition listings of Christmas rock with 45 ,only the time when a link was posted on here where it took you to newspaper listings ,I happen to read whilst the link was available that mac and Katie kissoon and neil sedaka were also listed as guests appearing on this xmas show ,no where else have I read this info ,only if possible could you please have a look to see if you can spot anywhere this added info for the xmas show please .many thanks mate. Hi Jerry, A disastrous day at the library today; once again I turn up ask for my order and it's mysteriously not there,I was told to wait an hour, then I go back, and was told that it had missed that delivery? and that it would be another 30 mins. Finally, I get an order of sorts, not everything i'd asked for, I was not amused, anyway, one of the items that did'nt turn up was Look-In magazine that I was going to check out for you regarding your question about the Xmas 45 show guests, so that'll need to wait another week. cheers William

I'm confused when I looked at the Christmas rock with 45 billing that rosko was the show's former compere. I thought david 'kid' Jensen was it's only host & did all the shows in it's 17 month run. how did he do it? was he the first choice or if they did a pilot to '45' did rosko do that?

hi Christian ,when 45 first broadcasted the show in the Granada region in april 1974 ,the presenter for the first series was rosko, and I think kid Jensen hosted one or two from the first series ,so that's why the article refered to rosko being the former presenter.

All this constant bumping the threads up is really tedious!

tedious or not mike ,it has proved in the past on this forum and others that it does work ,when a topic gets buried onto another page anyone new viewing the forum who may have some helpful info to add don't always notice the topic
