Jerry,
In case you don't know in this month's "Record Collector" magazine Keith Badman has written a great article about the 21st Nov 1974 (45 show) primarily because of Hot Chocolate's appearance.

Hi Jerry,
I only briefly looked at the item; whilst in my local Sainsbury's cafe, but I'm sure it mentioned some or all of the other acts on that show?

Hi Jerry,
I've just had another look at the Record Collector magazine as I passed Sainsbury's and it does give a thorough run down of the acts on the 21st Nov 1974 (45) show.
I have an agreement with Keith Badman that I always ask his permission before posting any (detailed information) from his work.
But as you said you are going to buy the magazine anyway, then I won't have to ask you to wait till I get permission from Keith.

Hi William I had a quick glance whilst in wh smiths ,I'm not sure how I understood the Eric Clapton track that was featured on this edition I think it read that it was half animated and half live whilst zigzag did their obliguaty dance routine ,so I didn't know if it meant zigzag danced along to this track or zigzag were just doing a dance on the show ,have you any thoughts William on how it read

Hi Jerry,
In my opinion the Eric Clapton clip featured footage of him (in concert) singing 'Willie and the Hand Jive' (interspersed with animation)
Zig Zag danced to another song, but which song? over to you Jerry

That article is not quite correct...
Emperor Rosko did present some early editions of '45' but this was most definitely Kid Jensen's show and he too presented shows during the first series. Director Peter Walker confirms that. Also, the show was only recorded at The Hardrock from January 1975 onwards when the show was renamed 'Rock On With 45'.

Looking at a picture of the Xmas day 1974 special,it looks like abba ,Neil sedaka and Mac and Katie kissoon can be added to the TV listings that appear on the TV times.

Zig Zag danced to one of their own recordings, "The Bump".

The Bump was not the Kenny version but Zig Zag's own recording.
