"Thank Your Lucky Stars" UPDATE number 17I've been through late 1961 and and most of 1962 in the NME and there's not a lot of "TYLS" info apart from whom was on the show that particular week; which is well covered already by "Lost Shows" and "IMDB"... so I had a look for any other bits of info and found six pictures... 19/01/62 (I remember these blow-up Yogi's...IIRC they had one for Huckleberry Hound as well?) 14/09/62 28/09/62 07/12/62 21/12/62 and this I'll have a look at 1963 soon See previous "Thank Your Lucky Stars" postings on pages 11,12,13 and 14cheers William

Thanks for the great info! Is there any way of getting the Philip Jones article bigger so it can be read section by section?

Discotheque UPDATE number 13TV Times 9th April 1969 I noticed that this run down for the 9th April 1969 has Eire Apparent as being one of the guests, apologies if this is already common knowledge, but I can't see them as being on the show anywhere else. I also came across this picture and wee article about Ayshea in the same edition of the TV Times To follow the "Discotheque" research postings from the beginning please see pages 1,3,6,8,9,10 and 12

Found these pics (above and below) on the set of 'Discotheque', of the original presenters Billy J. Kramer and Dianne Greaves.

Nice! She was described as a Dolly Bird in the publicity! Sign of the times!
Graham Bonney of Supergirl fame was a copresenter too.
One critic was not very complimentary of the show, saying that the direction was terrible, with us tone camera on Dianne.
