I tried an Amazon search very interesting books
Good news that the Mitchell Library stock the Press and Journal and the Evening Express,I might get round to going there sometime to research 'Pop Scotch'

Hi Ronnie, I tried an Amazon search? is it football related? Good news that the Mitchell Library stock the Press and Journal and the Evening Express,I might get round to going there sometime to research 'Pop Scotch' I'm going to work this up as a film; a combination of 'You've Got Mail' with '84 Charing Cross Road'... There are odd coincidences out there; turns out that Shelly di Capri lived across the road and a few doors up from here a couple of years ago.We both know the same lamp-post.(It's a memorial to someone).

Sorry didn't make myself clear. The NLS has those Aberdeen newspapers - its of course possible the Mitchell has them too.

William!
I enjoy reading your posts very much.
If you come across any info or articles on Thank Your Lucky Stars I'd be grateful if you could post them.
I'm hoping to rewrite the book I did on the show. If I'm to do that, I need as much info as possible.
There must be references to it in the N.M.E., I imagine. Doug Hinman's book on the Kinks seems to allude to articles.
cheers
Kev

Thankd for the fantastic article of pans people much appreciated ,also i like to read the articles on thank your lucky stars ,i wasnt old enough to watch the show at the time but i believe it was very popular ,i wonder if anyone on here remembers watching the show when it was originally broadcast ,id be interested to know if it featured a regular dance troupe ,i believe jo cook was given the job of regular choreographer from late 65 until the show came to an end mid 66 ,but ive no idea if the programme had a dance troupe before the jo cook dancers.

Thanks for the great info, William!
All that effort and what did ABC do to nearly all the episodes...Wipe them!
What a treasure trove they would have been!

what a great pity all the gojos material has gone and been forgotten ,poor jo cook has got nothing visual to watch to remind her of her of her work as choreographer only that one remaing gojos clip from totp 1967
