On a slight aside, Ayshea and Roy Wood were very much an item back in the early 70's. They both did the face-paint thingy as a sign of love (ahh) and the famous 'A' on Roy's forehead was for Ayshea. Thomas.

I can add this little bit of 'Baskin & Copperfield' info "However the duo subsequently appeared on the ITV pop show ‘Lift Off With Ayshea’ on the 4th of November 1970 along with John Walker (of the Walker brothers) the White Plains, Mud and Maggie Brown. The video recording of the show appears to have been lost."
Maybe they filmed it on the 4th of November ?

Thanks for the extra details, Mark - where did they come from? If anyone can fill in the few gaps on those episodes, please post them here!
I'm afraid there's no way of telling which songs the groups performed, folks (if they were published, i'd have listed them). That's all the info there is in the TV Times (on rare occasions, there is a reference to the odd song being sung, which i'll include here). If Lift Off was a BBC series, details like that could be checked at the written archives centre but i'm not sure if ITV paperwork of that kind still exists anywhere (?)
I'll post more listings hopefully tomorrow, time permitting.

It was Rubettes related thing (John & Alan tossed a coin to see who would be Baskin - John lost...)
They almost certainly performed 'I Never See The Sun' which was out in October 1970. I'm thinking that, as most acts were promoting singles on Lift Off, it should be relatively easy to find out what songs they performed.
Just making an educated guess here: White Plains had 3 singles out in 1970 the last of which was 'Julie Do Ya Love Me'
Mud's only single in 1970 was 'Jumping Jehosaphat'
John Walker...can't really help. I'm aware they gave his version of 'Cottonfields' a good push. Might be that
No joy with Maggie Brown...Hmmm, not as easy as I thought it would be.
I will ask around.

I can't exactly recall offhand which regions were in sync with one another and which deviated. I researched these at the BFI library some time back. I asked for London area TV Times but they gave me Southern instead, claiming they didn't have London editions. On subsequent visits though, they did the same thing but when I pointed it out again, they went away and came back with the London editions! I kept with Southern for Lift Off though, for consistency.
Anyway, here's series 3:

Glad the episode guide is appreciated anyway, Alan.
I'd guess Chinatown was played on Lift Off too but the TOTP appearance for it is missing too and I have yet to find an existing performance from any show. A shame as it's a favourite of mine of The Move's numbers.
