www.facebook.com/genial.mary/videos/1570970706436900Does this video of The Sweet performing Six Teens exist anywhere? From what I can make out the video originates from a now deleted youtube channel called SMSChannel. It's clearly edited, with a short sequence from the Bay City Rollers tagged on the end. However there's a colour still image on tumblr which appears to match the video, with the description "Sweet rehearsing for U.K. TV show Lift Off with Ayshea, 1974". Details from the thread summary (pasted below) correspond to a missing episode according to the tvbrain website. LIFT OFF WITH AYSHEA (EPISODE 123) 15th July 1974 The Sweet (The Six Teens & Set Me Free as programme outro) / Merlin (Alright) / The Settlers (Top of the World) Pilot (film clip - Just A Smile) Sweet’s Performance was filmed Monday 8th July at Granada TV Studio’s Manchester U.K

This great segment of Lift Off has been around for decades, captured by the band on an early taping machine.
Clips of Lift Off have been shown at several Kal television events.

It's good to see some of the missing stuff survives, and I'm surprised that it's not on Andy Scott's Sweet youtube channel. After reading a recent TOTP thread this morning I was inspired to search the ok.ru site, and indeed a better quality version exists there - ok.ru/video/7616137929

Came across this info in the National Library of Scotland today it might have been mentioned before ? but if not, it might fill in a few gaps:
Lift Off with Ayesha
18/10/72 Boulevard sang (Miss Belinda) ... 10cc sang (Donna) ... Gene Pitney sang (24 Hours from Tulsa)
25/10/72 Lonnie Donegan sang (Speak to the Sky)
01/11/72 The Fortunes sang (Everything is out of Season)
08/11/72 Tom Paxton sang (Peace will come) ... Ayesha sang (Day by Day)
also on the same show A 3 piece called Sweet Chariot from Manchester with a story in song about Salford's Martha Street where the inhabitants and the street await the bulldozers.
13/12/72 John Pantry sang (Net of Concern) ... Christie sang (Fool's Gold) ... The Tremeloes sang (Blue Suede Tie)

Only the last one was known about, because that last episode was rediscovered (I've seen it as well.... same time as Jeff Christie as well.)
