Hi Stephen, there are six episodes that seem to exist in OTR mp3 collectors hands although there may be a collector of cassettes with more out there - if so please contact us!
In all there were according to my calculation two series of ten episodes each and a pilot
Currently existing are:
1971.02.06 - s01e10 - PS - Goodbye, Parsley Sidings 1971.07.28 - sPSe01 - PS - The Pilot Show 1973.09.29 - s02e01 - PS - Pass The Parcel 1973.10.13 - s02e03 - PS - The Entente Cordial 1973.10.20 - s02e04 - PS - A Night Out 1973.11.03 - s02e06 - PS - A Bird In The Hand 1973.12.01 - s02e10 - PS - The Secret Agent
The date on the pilot show looks a bit suspect but thats as much as I am aware of.

Hi, The dates for the pilot and first series episode are wrong, for the record: The Royal Train, the pilot episode, was broadcast on 28/2/1971 in a series of one-offs called 'Comedy Parade', whilst series 1 was broadcast between 5th December 1971 and 6th February 1972, the latter date being that of 'Goodbye Parsley Sidings'. Apparently 14 episodes exist worldwide, though a few clearly are only circulating amongst Dad's Army fans! Stuart

Thanks for the correction of the date and I now have 14 episodes of the two series including the pilot. Sadly one is very poor indeed and no amount of work is ever going to make it enjoyable. This is the current list-
1971.07.28 - sPSe01 - PS - The Pilot Show.mp3 1971.12.19 - s01e03 - PS - The Beauty Queen Contest.mp3 1971.12.26 - s01e04 - PS - The Inspector Calls.mp3 1972.01.02 - s01e06 - PS - The 1890 Rocket.mp3 1972.01.23 - s01e08 - PS - The Baby.mp3 1972.02.06 - s01e10 - PS - Goodbye, Parsley Sidings.mp3 1973.09.29 - s02e01 - PS - Pass The Parcel.mp3 1973.10.06 - s02e02 - PS - The Flower Show.mp3 1973.10.13 - s02e03 - PS - The Entente Cordial.mp3 1973.10.20 - s02e04 - PS - A Night Out.mp3 1973.10.27 - s02e05 - PS - The Goods Train.mp3 1973.11.03 - s02e06 - PS - A Bird In The Hand.mp3 1973.11.17 - s02e08 - PS - The New Level Crossing(Very Poor).mp3 1973.12.01 - s02e10 - PS - The Secret Agent.mp3
I would love to find the rest and whilst I admire Arthur Lowe I dont think this series did him any favours at all. If the 14 quoted in existence by Sunny Manchester are different to above please contact me.

Hi Ian I'd like to fill out my collection of the show. I'm sure I can find stuff to trade with you if you are willing. Don't suppose you have access to the original reels/tapes that were transferred to MP3?
Thanks, Richard.

Not wishing to sound forward, but is there any chance of these being posted somewhere public or something as i'd really like to hear these. If theres a good reason not, fair play; theres probably a bittorrent tracker or upload site where they would be welcome though

I've heard a few of these courtesy of the DAAS library and more recently BBC7, though I think I've probably heard about 6 of them, It'd be nice if the beeb did a CD release of some of the episodes, I'm sure there would be an interest from Dad's Army fans.
