They've never been released by the BBC to my knowledge, though it would be nice to see a collection of the broadcastable episodes at least.

Hi could anyone please tell me where i could buy the parsley sidings episodes thank you very much They're not commercially available and we don't do buying and selling stuff here - especially when the show, like PS, is available on places like UKNova for free. If anyone wants a copy gratis and can't find one, let me know and I'll upload it somewhere. Cheers Stuart

Thanks for the correction of the date and I now have 14 episodes of the two series including the pilot. Sadly one is very poor indeed and no amount of work is ever going to make it enjoyable. This is the current list- 1971.07.28 - sPSe01 - PS - The Pilot Show.mp3 1971.12.19 - s01e03 - PS - The Beauty Queen Contest.mp3 1971.12.26 - s01e04 - PS - The Inspector Calls.mp3 1972.01.02 - s01e06 - PS - The 1890 Rocket.mp3 1972.01.23 - s01e08 - PS - The Baby.mp3 1972.02.06 - s01e10 - PS - Goodbye, Parsley Sidings.mp3 1973.09.29 - s02e01 - PS - Pass The Parcel.mp3 1973.10.06 - s02e02 - PS - The Flower Show.mp3 1973.10.13 - s02e03 - PS - The Entente Cordial.mp3 1973.10.20 - s02e04 - PS - A Night Out.mp3 1973.10.27 - s02e05 - PS - The Goods Train.mp3 1973.11.03 - s02e06 - PS - A Bird In The Hand.mp3 1973.11.17 - s02e08 - PS - The New Level Crossing(Very Poor).mp3 1973.12.01 - s02e10 - PS - The Secret Agent.mp3 I would love to find the rest and whilst I admire Arthur Lowe I dont think this series did him any favours at all. If the 14 quoted in existence by Sunny Manchester are different to above please contact me. Ian Gutteridge Ian, just as a matter of interest, the correct title for the pilot show is 'The Royal Train', and the correct title for the one you call 'The Baby' was actually 'Who'll Be Mother'. I have the same 14 episodes as you, and alas my copy of The New Level Crossing is missing a minute or two of the beginning, and though it's not totally unlistenable it's not the best condition. Also one of the episodes I have - which Jim Eldridge gave me himself, has something else of about a minute in length recorded over top that his family did at some stage. However not a lot of story is missed. I can't recall the title off hand, but does one of your's have that gap? His was the only known copy when I got it and circulated it to the DAAS. In a thread on The Mausoleum Club Steve Arnold reckoned there were only two left missing. But the ones I've never been able to track down are: The Market Special The Postal Express Cricket, Lovely Cricket The Concert Unknown The Purity League and The Film makers Are some of them back in the archives now? Or was Steve mistaken?

Hi Dave,
I have the episodes listed below -
The Market Special The Postal Express Cricket, Lovely Cricket The Concert The Purity League
They were all recorded by myself at the time of transmission. Fortunately I kept the reel to reel tape and have now transferred them to digital format, so they are safe. Does that now make all episodes accounted for? I have twelve in total, the other seven are already listed as saved.
Regards,
Marc.

Parsley Sidings is a lovely series and any more Arthur Lowe is always a cause for celebration. Cheers Stuart
