Can anyone confirm that two other HHH episodes exist that are usually listed as missing. Namely, The Hancock Festival (5th of 1st series; 30-11-54) and A Holiday in France (1st of 2nd series; 19-4-55). These are listed of the contents of a least one CD-selling American mp3 site. Rare recordings or falsely labeled episodes? Of course if some kind person would post a link to a download site for these episodes as confirmation I would be most grateful. Thanks anyhow & keep up the good work all diligent episode hunters!

BBC7 will be broadcasting The Blackboard Jungle in the near future according to a message posted by one of the hosts on the BBC7 message board.

You can change the file name back (if you haven't already) to what it should be... What should it be? Should it be... Hancock's Half Hour - The Blackboard Jungle ? A brilliant find, thanks!!

I doubt very much, ‘A Holiday in France’ is really available from that site (although I, and many others, would love it to be, of course...), as it’s one of the 4 episodes from the 2nd series featuring Harry Secombe and thus a lost show/episode! Probably just got the title mixed up with ‘A Trip to France’, from the 1st series, which does exist... ‘The Hancock Festival’, from the 1st series, is another lost show, that as I type, is still to turn up/be re-discovered. This too, is probably just a mix-up, with ‘The East Cheam Drama Festival, from the 5th series – which exist...

Yes, Stuart, unfortunately... Is there a list anywhere of what actually is missing from the radio shows? Check this out: www.bbc.co.uk/cult/treasurehunt/missing/hancocks.shtmlSome of the shows on the list, as you may notice, have been found..., such as 'The Blackboard Jungle', but still remain on the list, as wanted. In this particular case, it’s probably only due to the slow updating of the Treasure Hunt Web site, as the copy found is of a really good quality. Whilst other lost shows (currently doing the rounds), remain on the list, deliberately, as the copies handed back/found, are of a very poor quality... So, they'd (the BBC) still like to think, better copies will turn up...

Is there a list anywhere of what actually is missing from the radio shows? Also, have a look at the sites I mentioned in the "Hancock radio log" topic further down the radio forum index page.

So, am I right that the completely missing episodes of radio Hancock are these ones?
Series 1
The Hancock Festival The Department Store Santa Christmas At Aldershot The Christmas Eve Party The Marriage Bureau Series 2
A Holiday In France (Secombe) The Crown Jewels (Secombe) The Racehorse (Secombe) A Visit To Swansea (Secombe leaves) Prime Minister Hancock The Three Sons The Matador
Series 3
The New Neighbour The Winter Holiday The Red Planet A Visit To Russia The Trial Of Father Christmas Cinderella Hancock The New Years Resolutions The Breakfast Cereal The Newspaper
Also, one of the sites lists 'The Blackboard Jungle' as held by THAS - is this a reference to the copy recently promoted on here, or is one version of superior quality to the other?
