Is it at all possible to get a high bitrate Raw version of this sans cleaning up?.. I'm an audio Engineer specialising in Restoration. who happens to play Hancock On real radio here in Australia. BTW when i try to download the file it does nothing !!!.. says im already getting it !?!?!? Ade, If you're willing to post you address, to this email: ted_rogers@operamail.com, then I'll see what I can do... BTW, not sure why you're having trouble with the download...

Ted, You asked if people had downloaded and listened to this episode - I have, on both accounts and am very grateful for your sharing. I would certainly like to get high bitrate or even a 'RAW' copy, as well - not that it sounds like there's much room for improvement, but because I think it's important to have copies as close to source as possible available. And I'm really panting over the possibilities of what might also exist in that particular tape archive! ;D Cheers, Stuart

Ted, My first post on here in about a year! I found out about the discovery about five minutes ago on The Mausoleum Club ( www.the-mausoleum-club.org.uk/xmb/forumdisplay.php?fid=10) and now, I've managed to download a previously missing Hancock's Half Hour. Remarkable. The internet can be a wonderful place... Many thanks for your generosity in sharing the file, Ted, and for your hard work on restoring the recording. Cheers! Alan

Just like to say thanks, to all those that thanked me, for the sharing of this show. I always knew of course, it would be well appreciated. (as good enough a reason, if any was needed…)

Ade, You never left your postal address, as I suggested, at the email I mentioned. Please do that for me, and I’ll get an unadulterated copy off to you...

If it's lossless your after i suggest you encode it in either FLAC or SHN format, rather than MP3 that way there will be a high quality version out there.
