Hello Everyone, My apologies for my absense of late, was due to a persistant login issue.Which I think have finally fixed for good using the facebook login option, which seemed to do the trick. As my finding of the home filmed 8mm "Ready,Steady,Go" Youtube clip, have still been researching, and found a few other great clips to post for everyone to enjoy! Tempest-Paperback Writer www.youtube.com/watch?v=kDfsYh5eHfoGilbert O'Sullivan - What's In A Kiss - TOTP (Off Air EIAJ 1/2in Open Reel Video Recording.Asked into this item and found was at the end of an university project recording.Sadly,is all there is there. Is known that this exists,is nice however to see presented) www.youtube.com/watch?v=oTWJk2emt0kAudio Only, however if this may be what it is stated to be,could now be the earliest known Pre-Led Zeppelin "The New Yardbirds Recording"about? Was stated to have been at the end of a reel to reel Greatful Dead Concert recording, pleasant surprise to say the least.Am very interested to hear what is thought in regards to this item: The NEW YARDBIRDS live in London 1968 "I Can't Quit You Babe" www.youtube.com/watch?v=lltNxDyXewUThe Animals - House of the Rising Sun (UK TV, 1964) www.youtube.com/watch?v=sAUhze7ScugDavid Bowie (Pop Deux,Feb 12th,1972,Recorded at Imperial College,London.Broadcast April 3rd,1972,ORTF TV,French TV Recording:Monochrome Recording) www.youtube.com/watch?v=tsHk1ZLMWdcRolling Stones - Satisfaction - Live '71 Marquee Club www.youtube.com/watch?v=ciYDmMMRZw8Bob Marley -Rastaman Vibration - Live Footage At The Amandla Festival Boston (1979) www.youtube.com/watch?v=6FWqIfZiaWIRory Gallagher-Walk On Hot Coals (Live,Irish 1974 Tour Material) www.youtube.com/watch?v=c5Hsu-A-WYMELF (1974,Live,Concert Footage.Looks as was shot backstage. However, sadly the audio on either this recording or the mic used is very poor.Is an interesting document however as is the only known live footage of ELF around) www.youtube.com/watch?v=d6prX1RVjW8UFO Live - Lights Out www.youtube.com/watch?v=Blvnoao1WO0UFO-Rock Bottom www.youtube.com/watch?v=1qP_OqOJ8ug&feature=relatedCheers,Lance.

Some good ones there, Lance.
Interesting to see the Elf footage, I saw them supporting Deep Purple and it must have been around that time.
Rory Gallagher is always welcome, too. I really miss him.

Hi Lance,
Great Bowie clip! Never seen that one before, brilliant to have such a good close-up Mick Ronson live.
The 2 UFO clips are not particularly rare, the have been available on an official release called Too Hot To Handle - The Story of UFO since around 1990, I still have a VHS of it somewhere...brill footage though.
Chris.

Amazingly awful especially as Sir Albert Hammond OBE is capable of writing such tunes as "The Air That I Breathe, When I Need You, It Never Rains in Southern California and the 2nd best selling single of 1987 in the U.K Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now". ;D

It's amazing that new things keep surfacing. I hadn't seen a few of these before, particularly the Manfred Mann clip. The truth is the pop archives of most European countries put ours to shame.
On the subject of the Manfreds, there is so much good '60s material existing on this band that i'm surprised no one has yet put together a difinitive DVD set. The one sizeable omission from the archives being Colour Me Pop, of course. There is much good stuff to choose from though, mainly from overseas archives.
Does anyone know, by the way, if Manfred Mann made any U.S. TV appearances during their existence? I haven't come across any on the usual shows that most bands of that time appeared on and was just wondering.

As far as i know Laurence, they appeared on Ed Sullivan an Shindig, the latter has plenty of examples on you tube. As for any other US shows perhaps someone else might be able to help

Yes, you're right, Paul. Sorry, I should have explained a bit better! I was thinking of the later line-up with Mike D'abo and Klaus Voorman in colour.
