Love Affair - Rainbow Valley is not from 'Top Pop', as the programme didn't start until 1970. It is from the show's predecessor 'Moef Ga Ga', 03-04-68 episode (also performed was 'Everlasting Love'.).

That German tv staging of Love Affair's excellent Rainbow Valley is hilarious- I've loved the song for years but can't say it's ever conjured images in my mind of chilly night-time ghetto streets and girls with machine guns! What were they thinking? No wonder Steve Ellis looks a bit bemused.
Of course now I'd love to see a complete edition of 'Moef Ga Ga'....

Actually it's Dutch, not German.

An audio clip of Bob Dylan Don't Think Twice It's Alright from Hallalujah recorded at ABC's Didsbury studios in May 1964 appeared about a year ago www.youtube.com/watch?v=kkfGFt4wa28 But to be honest, all Dylan early recordings could be from anywhere! It was recorded 14th May 1964 and broadcast Sunday 7th June 1964 along with Blowin’ In The Wind and Chimes of Freedom, which appear to be missing.

a belated thanks to Nicadare for posting 10CC singing "Life is A Minestrone" (amongst others)
I have recently bought a new book about 10CC called "The Worst Band in the World" by Liam Newton
In my opinion they were a very under-rated group whom I have always appreciated

I've had a soft spot for them for many years, & not not just because Strawberry Studios is just down the road from me. On the documentary they mention that about the only thing they lacked was an obvious front man.

Without checking, I think the Marmalade clip comes from '‘Doing Their Thing’.
