I reckon the delay is because the BBC and BFI cannot agree on what font to use on the press release. The Beeb want Arial, whereas the BFI are holding out for Comic Sans...

I too am looking forward to finding out whatever it is that has been recovered Hopefully it will be something on my personal wants list, if not then something that will be fun to watch at some point anyway. If the announcement is delayed I am guessing it will be for some reason rather than whim. I am going to go and grab some tortillas and chilli dip and hit F5 every so often............... I am hoping for some Hancock.

I have always been very curious about the first episode, sounds very interesting from a description. Also the obligatory mention of the Quatermass spoof episode... well, that would be a treasure to see

I am hoping for some Hancock. I'm hoping for The Gnomes of Dulwich, The Complete and Utter History of Britain, some Liver Birds, Likely Lads, Till Death Us Do Part, Dee Time, Frost Report, Not Only... But Also plus the missing Dad's Army and the original Kitten Kong. That'll do for starters! And for the main course...

They would not do that if the three missing episodes were coming back.

I'm wondering if the announcement that Gold were planning to remake the episodes "smoked out" the missing episodes, possibly held by Phil Morris?

I'm hoping the 3 missing 'Dads Army' episodes have been found...if only to spare us from a weak and poorer remake.

Looking forward to hearing what's been recovered. Monday is fine for me, that's my day off from work. Here's hoping for some unexpected gems.

I'm beginning to feel more sure that this is something stonking. The trouble with having extra time is that one continues to add to the list of hoped-for recoveries.

To be honest it's dead easy for me to list my 100 most desired recoveries
1-97 can easily be guessed
Then
98. Under Fire 99. A Stripe for Frazer 100. The Loneliness of the Long Distance Walker

So, is an announcement still on for tomorrow? A comedy announcement as far as we know.
