If it was something to be animated then Masterplan would get my vote followed behind by the first yeti story

I do think its important to see the surviving episodes next to the missing ones as it shows trends and it can be confusing if some series look completely missing.

Strange ? for me its still saying Z-Cars and Softly Softly as not been updated.
With shows like Z-Cars which has the later series surviving, just group under 'rest of series surviving'
can someone post a link to the list with it showing as being updated?

Just wondering if the list on the main page will be updated after the recent recoveries? Also ,is it possible to have the episodes that exist also included? One of my favourite things to do is look at a series and see the episodes being ticked off

People still wait with excitement for the next installment of their favourite tv shows and spend lots of money buying them on home media. Scheduled TV will change and instant Series will be come normal. In someways it means that TV broadcasters will have to have alot more content for its viewers to consume, which will hopefull lead back to catalogue/archive shows it will all come full circle

"so, State Visit is also on You Tube in good quality: www.youtube.com/watch?v=PMamLbD8iAc" From my experience nothing on YouTube is in 'good quality.' It beggars belief how YouTube hosts so much video - they must have banks of thousands of hard-drives whatever. Goodness knows how they do back-ups. However when I digitised some lost eps. for YouTube a few years ago the results were fairly hi-def. But during uploading YouTube changed the 'scanning' from horizontal to vertical and the results were awful. And YouTube uses compression both for the video and audio. I think YouTube is catering for smart phones rather than decent sized computer screens. I have a 17" screen om my Toshiba Qosmio and YouTube clips are unwatchable - pixelation and out of sync. audio. I have to reduce the size of the playing window of VLC to quarter the size of the screen to even watch a YouTube clip. This is why i pretty much ignore post where people claim to have found something missing on Youtube. 90% of the time it already exist and the quality is just to poor for a dvd/rebroadcast

I reckon tonights announcement will be something different than a drama, maybe a documentary or music show?
