Could you do a 'cut and paste',AJ? Posted by Chris Perry: "DISCOVERY 49: Till Death Us Do Part - Football. I was informed this morning that Arnie Spence has returned an episode of Till Death Us Do Part to the BBC this morning. On 16mm film, he found it in his father's film collection. It's great news!"

Thanks,Stuart. Facebook's one of the many things I'm not good at. Episode synopsis: "Despite the fact that he confiscated local kids' football, Alf is still invited by the vicar to act as coach for the youth soccer team, attracting scorn from Mike. Needless to say Alf is not a good trainer, concentrating on the skills of only one player, though he does attract the attention of some well-known soccer players." With Bobby Moore playing 'himself'. Nice to think that Lostshows': "Out of an original total of 59 episodes, 19 episodes are missing, a further 4 are incomplete and 5 exist on formats inferior to the original." will be updated. I had't realised that so many survived!

I am not in the UK but has there been any media coverage regarding this episode being found? Obviously if it were Doctor Who there would be a lot but Till Death Us Do Part was ground breaking and culturally important. Hopefully something was mentioned somewhere.... I put Radio Times listings for both Football and Intolerance on my From the Archive Facebook page and it could be found here if you are into such things. If you go there and like what you see, please like the page. I post Radio Times stuff there at least once a week including something new today. Please check it out at: www.facebook.com/FromtheArchiveMN/

Wonderful news, sadly we'll have to wait for someone like Network to put out 'Till Death Us Do Part' on DVD to actually see it (beyond a Kaleidoscope showing), as you can bet your life the PC BBC won't air it. Love to be proved wrong but...
