Let's not forget the soundtrack is BBC copyright, as is the design of the Daleks, so the BBC are perfectly within their rights to do this, before we jump to too many conclusions... It's just the first time I've seen a strike for this clip.

Well, it may hold nothing of value to you, but clearly it does to the large number of members who post here. But if all their opinions mean nothing to you, then go ahead and shut it down. Find something in this thread that justifies the thread being here, just one post, and I'll keep it. Paul Like two of my contacts reported seeing clips of missing episodes, not found anywhere public? Because of my contacts' need for privacy, I can't post any specifics. Not yet, anyway. Granted, I don't like irrelevant posts, either - which is partly why I am posting again now. Whatever happens, though, I will respect the wishes of the administrators of this forum.

I would suggest that there is a major difference between talking about archival material and current productions which involves public liability and oh&s issues Where information to concerned residents could be seen as a legal obligation. Do you have a copy of the question asked regarding Utah? I assume it was a resident from Utah asking. I was the one who filed the FOI for the Utah filming (I live in Utah). But it was a while ago, and I probably don't remember what I asked, specifically. We did find out where the filming was. Scot Ferre

What do I think? Sending FOI requests to the BBC asking them to confirm that there 106 missing episodes - I think you're a complete loony! Actually - that makes sense. I can sympathize - when Doctor Who came to Utah to film in Monument Valley for Series 6, I did send in FOI requests for information regarding the filming. It worked - we got some information. Some Utahns got to go and see the filming. But I am not sure on what Alistair asked them to do - did he say "please confirm there are 106 missing episodes"? According to his post, he asked them "how many episodes were missing". I think there's a slight but significant difference between the two questions. Scot Ferre
