There's no conclusive evidence that the Taiwan incident was a hoax. It remains an open book, for me. But either way, it's not likely we'll see the prints, if they exist.

With thanks to Mr. Bignell:
Tim Burrows has posted on Twitter/X:
"Regarding the article, I’ve spoken to John and he has said that he was alluding to the same two episodes that Paul Vanezis has mentioned over the years and that he doesn’t know what they are. He DID NOT mention Daleks and he has been misrepresented. Sorry to rain on everyone’s parade."

When I watched some episodes on the US BritBox, the Krotons and Arc of Infinity stuck in my mind as being poor quality. Hmm.

Not many - just the very first four episodes. The man handling the author's estate is something.....

"The broadcaster has confirmed that the first four episodes of William Hartnell's era won't be available as part of the archive due to rights issues."I'm intrigued to know why the BBC don't own the rights to the first 4 episodes? It does seem rather odd. Can anyone here shed more light on this? You haven't heard? Stef Coburn, Anthony Coburn's younger son, is in charge of the Coburn estate. Coburn had written AUC. His wife was in charge when he died, then the oldest son, and now Stef. Many fans (pretty much all of them) are in bewilderment of his tweets on X - talking about nonsense, but he thinks the BBC owes the estate (read Stef) lots of money for Coburn's contributions to Doctor Who. Long story, but Coburn is basically unreasonable and is withholding viewing rights for iPlayer and maybe other streaming sites. Physical releases should be covered by previous agreements. Don't sell or lose your AUC DVDs!

I still take Phil at his word. Given all his words including his social media posts, I can't help but think it's similar to Trump's utterances. There's a lot of empty words..... (it's just an observation, that's all).

It’s controlled by your WiFi, search history on whatever you’re using to browse. Nothing to do with the site here.

Richard Bignell has posted two images of a post regarding the MEs. He may repost it here but the gist is that Levine got it mixed up and the episodes, if they exist, wouldn’t necessarily be burned or disposed of. The post was by a friend of the ex-BBC guy.

Whoa, Nellie. I'm pretty sure this is nonsense. Partly because the Britbox thing has no legs.
And the OP never said where the rumor was sourced (yet).

Some years ago, Mr. Morris said that what we know about bicycling and exports and all that would "blow a few doors off". Or something. The point is - we just simply don't know, at least until Mr. Morris is able to educate us on this subject.

You can check GOG.com for some old games on there. They can usually run on newer PCs.

15 years is a long time (for the search) to keep quiet about most details. We’ve gotten a few but not much else.
