Does anyone have a link to the uncensored Xmas 73 Blockbuster so that we can all enjoy Steve Priests "Camp Nazi" in all its ridiculous glory again? Had a quick gleg on YouTube to no avail.

The Sweet performing Blockbuster was also cut because Steve Priest wore a black armband with a Swastika on it. Therefore there is definately no chance of seeing their 1st February 1973 (black and White) performance where lead singer Brian Connolly wore a big Nazi German cross around his neck. I think the politically correct snowflakes at the BBC are going over the top now, German TV have no problem broadcasting these episodes. Unbelievable. Does this mean that The World at War can't be repeated now as there are too many swastikas on display? Idiots.

I know that some time ago Reparata was trying to get hold of a copy of the TOTP footage for Captain of Your Ship, and was shocked to find that it had been junked. This footage with DLT introducing the track in German on Beat Club made me wonder if, despite it being the official promo was the footage lifted from UK programming at the time? With the costume changes & SFX it isn't a "live" performance on German TV as quoted on Wikipedia. Does anyone know if DLT presented Music programs in Germany in the 60's

Perhaps something else has been edited in to replace it? Very unlikely but you never know.

The Feast of Stephen would be a good choice for a remake. Stand alone, quirky episode with little visual stuff remaining. On balance, why not? Not a bad idea actually. Well, they've got the Xmas message in the can 😀

It's interesting that this wasn't repeated for years like Roobarb by the same makers. I only got to know it through the comic strip in Buttons (or was it Pippin?) Appreciate we are OT on this thread but my feeling is that it may have been considered as too weird to repeat. Watched a bit again on You Tube & it's certainly odd.
