I would, though, love to see for reference exactly what has been fed in to produce this. If you look further down that twitter thread there's a number of other shorter videos. The AI seems to be producing a short 2-4 second video from a single frame, with the video in the first post being 6 short clips joined together. And it's quite impressive. It makes the 2 videos posted a couple of posts ago look positively primitive! It shows how quickly technology is improving!

Most of it is misremembering things because they're unimportant. Also the brain will kindof 'autocorrect' memories, or conflate two memories into one. People repeat movie quotes, some get adapted because they sound better.
Some comments I read on the internet seem to be made by people with such a huge ego that they'd rather believe they've slipped into a parallel universe (the world literally revolves around them!) that accept that memory is fallible.

Surely the show is worth keeping for some of the guest stars that appeared.
Also I remember a documentary about Lenny Henry mentioning that he made one of his earliest tv appearances on the show. A clip wasn't shown, leading me to assume that the episode no longer exists. But if it did it'd probably be worth keeping, if only to demonstrate the absurdity that he had to put dark makeup on his face.
But yeah, probably not wise to repeat full episodes even on the nostalgia channels.

Radio versions of the missing ones exist. They could complete those with animation if they really really had to have a visual version.

"Blackadder Pilot to air"? That's not a twenty minute-er, is it? 32 minutes assuming they don't cut anything. The script is the one they used for s1e2 "Born to be King" more or less, and different actors playing Baldrick & the King.

The blurb said one hour, but Front Row reduced this. Is there a link to the full tape? They only played a couple of minutes in the show, I doubt anyone's ever going to hear the full tape, Apple will sit on it.

I'm suspicious about that. 6 episodes has been the standard length of a BBC series for a very long time.
Regardless of that, the Streisand Effect will ensure that a lot more people see the episode than if there'd not been any fuss made over it.

Has he never published a list of what he's found? I'm assuming not because that's one of the first things he'd have been asked about!

then there is always the option to share material in other ways, if you feel that they might be at risk. That's why I was asking in another thread about when something would be considered public domain. I was really wondering that if, hypothetically, one were to post something on archive.org for example, would the BBC leave you alone if you stayed before a certain date or would it be stamped on regardless.
