An entry for the day 'Hold My Hand' was released -17th January 1969 - in "The Kinks All Day and All of the Night" by Doug Hinman reads -
"Dave's promotional dates are cancelled at the last moment, including a TV spot on Beat-Club due to be video taped in Bremen on January 24th, as well as further TV and radio spots in West Germany and Holland in the days following"

It's an excellent album (which did not receive a proper release at the time).

I don't believe the BBC have this - it has been speculated that it was one of the session tapes that the producer Bernie Andrews had retained (to save being wiped, against the BBC's regulations) but I don't think this has been confirmed. Sadly Bernie passed away in 2010.

Looks to me like "Swingin' Time" from Detroit - there is an episode here for comparison - www.youtube.com/watch?v=xH3G7Y25qm4The only place to see Inez and Charlie Foxx or The Elgins from the 60s, I think.

Doug Hinman's book on the Kinks indicates that they also appeared on the 31st December, 1965 show and lip-synced 'A Well Respected Man' + Pete Quaife appeared in a "pantomime skit" with Pete Townshend and Hilton Valentine.

It certainly doesn't look like the TOTP clip of Del Shannon & 'Keep Searchin' (We'll Follow the Sun)' which was in the Top 20 at the same time as 'Come Tomorrow' www.youtube.com/watch?v=VYJvoDJCW0APerhaps the Manfreds were on tour at the time and filmed away from the usual studio?

The Ready, Steady, Go contest was a separate mid-week series "Ready Steady, Win". The Bo Street Runners were the eventual winners of the only (1964) series. An LP was issued on Decca featuring the contestants bo-street-runners.wikidot.com/ready-steady-win
