Did you really expect the BBC to do something right?

Did you really expect the BBC to do something right? One would hope for better, but it looks like animation and extras could be a thing of the past.

Did you really expect the BBC to do something right? Well, I'm happy enough with a recon so . . . yes!

And for that very reason,it seems to me that WOF and EOTW won't be the last recovered releases. The BBC have done their homework and this a long term strategy to get recoveries onto the market ASAP!Forget extras and animations for now.We may have entered a period where those things will be deemed unimportant next to seeing stories that haven't been seen for nigh-on 50 years in pristine quality...

Did you really expect the BBC to do something right? They have done something right, for their coffers. But I certainly won't buy it until an animated version is available. Can't stand all the pan and zoom nonsense.

I hope you're right. I can live with recovered stories missing one episode, if th majority of episodes are recovered, but... it would still be nice to have whatever is missing animated.

This is clearly a cost cutting thing. Its not like we have loads of stories in a que to be released is it ! Or they expect its return in the near future ! Has to be one of those reasons.........

Or it could be because the release is nothing to do with Pup, and Worldwide have no prior experience of releasing Who DVDs with animated episodes.

Or because, quite clearly, as with The Lion video recon, and The Ice Warriors video recon, it is the easiest thing to do. In this case, easiest also means absolutely dirt cheapest to do too. But, the proof will be in the pudding, or not. Time will tell when official word is given.

And if it is, you buy all or nothing, or A - Another reason then this game will go on for who knows how long ?

Well the review discs are out now and its a recon, its unlikely they'd change it after they've sent all the discs out for various magazines/websites to review it.

Knew it was a recon. But such a shame ! How can you recon Reign and not Web ? Bizarre !
