Like most, I'm not expecting anything positive to come of the 'Australia 24'. It made me wonder how many hoaxes we'll have not just on this forum, but on GB, Roobarbs, Planet Kembel and the wider community. I thought a poll could be set up or people leave their thoughts and we'll see come the end of 2013, as much for fun as anything else. Maybe even a prize for the winner.

A bit of a pointless thread / exercise, I'd have thought.

Agreed, I wouldn't bother, otherwise you'll find people starting hoaxes deliberately to raise the total.

I think you're right Rob. Seems like a dumb idea when it's put like that. Was in good intentions though, as I felt the thread could run and run with lots of theories. Is it worth locking it? In fact can threads be deleted?

I think Graham Chapman's army skit would come in handy now and the remainder of the year and 2013...

Please don't bite my head off or all gang up on me for this, but a couple of days ago dr who online twitter tweeted something about looking at some missing episodes rumours and then the next tweet they asked people which missing episode they would most like to see. Coincidence or do you think something might have been found. Feel free to lock this thread if you think it's needed.
Thanks for your time.

When it comes to missing episode rumours, completely ignore them until you hear an official announcement from the BBC or their named representatives. So my advice my old china is to ignore this until you hear something from the BBC

It was the BBC that were tweeting it that is the only reason I posted. sorry if I've wasted time.
Thanks.

I am on my phone so the links might not work but here they are. If that doesn't work go on twitter search drwhoonline and scroll down to the tweets posted 2 days ago and you should find them

It was the BBC that were tweeting it that is the only reason I posted. sorry if I've wasted time. Thanks. Doctor Who on line isn't run by the BBC it describes itself as a fan run website. So I suppose it's them picking up on the posts from forums and passing on the same rumours we are already discussing I think.

Of course they might know something, so you could very well have the last laugh.
