Morning, you may have heard on GB some rumours about found evidence. Usually these are nothing to write home about however this one is. A few people were talking about this on planet Mondas so I thought I'd share it here. There is a user called Evil Johnny and he has a contact. This same contact informed him in September 2013 about the recovery of web/enemy. You can even go and see his post in 2013 talking about it. Apparently it was also said that he knew about the animated power ahead of time. This all points to the validity of this contact. On Christmas Day he reported that his contact informed him that it was 2 Hartnell episodes that have been found! He replied that he did not know which ones but that it is definitely true. He said his contact suspects that the other episodes have been animated but he said that was not definite. I think that this is something to get exited about as its from a very reliable source which has been proven in the past. I can't wait to see which ones! P.S. It has been clarified by Evil Johnny that he does not know if the rumour created by clouded yellow is the same one or not. He only knows that the Hartnell one is true as its been confirmed by his contact. Dont shoot the messenger

Thanks for sharing this, I won't get excited until I see proof but it's definitely something to look out for and mull over. I wonder which ones it is? I'd die of happiness if it's The Massacre but I doubt it as they only made 3 prints and 2 are confirmed destroyed.

The prints had been back in the UK for a while by then and had also been conserved, digitised, restored, etc - five weeks before the official announcement an increasing number of people would have been involved.

For sure, still gives this source some credibility as he hasn't been wrong about these ever from what what I know. Lets hope its correct.

So is this a completeley different rumour to the complete season three Hartnell found returned etc from Yellow Cloud, the great Indian Chief? Yes as it is saying only two episodes. Complete season 3 is impossible so I'd definitely ignore those. This is from a reputable source however, he's been right the two times he's spoke previously.

Well not impossible, but extremely unlikely.

It's an interesting possibility, although there is an alternative I would offer up. On occasion if you want to expose a leak, you put out a false story (fans of 80's Doctor Who will be aware of the "Doctor's Wife" hoax for example) and then trace the chain.
The Power of the Daleks leaked early, we all know that and the same newspaper then launched a tirade of attacks of the BBC for "sacking" Peter Capaldi for being "too old". It's an absolute lie, even Mr Capaldi himself has debunked it, yet they keep going and every last idiot on the internet without a shred of common sense demands it "must be true" because said newspaper got the Power story correct (I would source them, but I would not give them the ad revenue from visiting their site as it is clearly a click bait campaign).
In that situation, you pump out a few big stories to different departments, find out which story breaks out and then you know who is blabbing because some idiot has just caused a publicity nightmare for the BBC.
To keep it short: I suspect what is actually happening is that another animation has been ordered after the success of Power and now the BBC is having a clean out of the supply chain to ensure nothing leaks this time.

The obvious story to do next would be Evil.
