Weren't all the Pertwee colorizations but one sourced from the negatives? Or at least with the negatives available to the RT? My impression was the chromadot recovery of Dinosaurs:1 was subpar because it was sourced from a print (and not a great quality one at that). Invasion of the Dinosaurs didn't have any blue chroma dots so they had to try and "guess" how much to add. As of the moment you have two options, watch it in black and white or in green and red. Take your pick.
Back on topic, we should note the number of episodes recovered is five rather than three, which means it is almost certainly a different source. It seems likely what was believed about the episodes being scattered amongst numerous collectors is true and that the missing three are still out there (as well as numerous other collections as well).
Of course, it could be that the same source thought he had another 3 when he actually had 5.

It would be nice if something from season 4 turns up. Not sure if it was distributed as much as the others but it would be good if we could at least see no more missing stories and see them as orphaned episode status.

I think Ian is probably telling the truth. But proof will be nice. It's not impossible that he's making these announcements as a game. Each time, he follows it up with a series of tweets about how he is doing the right thing by telling people immediately (though, before solid proof), unlike others, implicating that someone is holding things back from the world. Similarly, he makes statements now and then about how many episodes *someone* still needs to become the number one alltime episode finder of the world, in an attempt to egg Philip on.
It is also, of course, possible that the source in Taiwan is mistaken or dishonest. Yes, proof will be nice (and informative!).

Per Facebook:
The 10 episodes are from the collection of Keith Perron. They are in not so great condition. Bad splices and mold. He's been asked to let Paul inspect them. Keith is now speaking to fans openly.
Ambassadors 1 and 3 apparently.
With the finding of Enemy 6, it's less likely to be Singapore. That copy was found in Nigeria!
I think the inspection of Marinus 6 will tell us more. Gibraltar perhaps?

Ian is making a big deal about the perceived contrast in methodology, but hoaxing finds would be beyond the pale! I don't entertain the thought

Gibraltar? Hmmm... I don't think it would be.
My money's on them being sent over to Asia from Australia for the benefit of the Aussie troops serving in Nam. When the Aussies vacated, they left the films behind.

Could we have an update of all the episode-finds over the last couple of years? I could do it,but I'd be pretty slow...

When the Aussies vacated, they left the films behind. So fascinating! Be good to see these. They'd be copies of prints then, right? Likely none would be of better quality. The key is then the Ambassadors 1 and Marinus 6. They need to be inspected.

I don't entertain the thought Good Lord, this couldn't be a case of brinkmanship by Ian trying to get Philip to show his hand could it?What are the odds of Ian just finding dupes again and again?I'm starting to get a real sinking feeling about this all of a sudden!
