A quick note that anyone out there who's taking advantage of anyone with a learning disability for some kind of amusement is a git. Yes fully agree, would not have posted if I had known Nothing against you,Tom,of course.

(OT) The Ice Warriors looks awesome!! (various members of the restoration team/ animation etc.) have done a fantastic job.. Just one more surviving Troughton Ep to go and I'll have em' all.... Unless these rumours turn out to be facts that is Just watched the animated Ice Warriors episodes and they are fantastic! It takes a few minutes to get used to it but then the narrative takes over and you forget that you're watching animations!Episode 2 is particularly wonderful and just goes to show how the loss of important visual episodes can hinder the enjoyment and legacy of a Dr Who story. Was similarly impressed with the audio of Evil of the Daleks-upon listening to the final 2 episodes,I was blown away at the story's development and Troughton's performance, another story which cries out for visuals and hopefully one day will be found or animated. However,I would have loved production notes on the 2 animated episodes (The Invasion is still the benchmark but understand that this is due to lack of time ),and it would have been nice to mimic the 1998 release by having an up-dated missing episodes documentary, but this time adding the story behind, and subsequent publicity ( MBW )of the 2011 finds.Oh yeah, and having UM2 and UM3 as extras, just like the Ice Warriors collection, but this is just me thinking out loud in an alternate universe where these things happen!

Yes fully agree, would not have posted if I had known Nothing against you,Tom,of course. I absolutely agree. However, he mentioned (on his twitter account) that he had an announcement for Dr Who, then made his own announcement, after a couple of teasers, so was obviously using the hype for his own advertisement. He may/may not have sen but he knows what he's doing as far as Dr Who missing episodes is concerned. He's making stuff up and that's not fair.

The Marco Polo part 3 panel with Mr. Hussein is certainly of interest. :3 Would love to hear him talk about Five Hundred Eyes.

Long Island's Doctor Who Convention November 8-10, 2013 Clarion Hotel Ronkonkoma
Missing Episodes Panel – John Peel, Frazer Hines, and moderater Leslie Hartman discuss the missing episodes from the black & White era Simon Fisher-Becker Q & A – hosted by Barnaby Edwards
I think this is a good date to draw a line under the missing episodes rumours, as these guests are billed to be talking about them

However, this may further fuel the debate, especially as it's still a few days before the official anniversary date or if the panelists say something cryptic or our case DON'T say anything!Tough one to figure out-are the episodes therefore still missing if a panel such as this is being conducted or is it being held to totally de-bunk the rumours?

It could be to confirm details of returns, or maybe finally end the rumours with a NO nothing at all has been found or returned, anyway they cannot just sit and say nothing.

IF episodes have been recovered I very much doubt that the first official confirmation of such would be a US convention. I would expect either a November press release by the Beeb or a MBW special focussing on who and the 50 th anniversary. Otherwise i cant imagine an announcement and the panel will cover familiar ground. Ie the frustration of 106 episodes destroyed and no current likelihood of them being recovered. Think it would be a great convention though. Very interesting panel discussions listed.

sadly some will innocently turn the smallest lack of clarity into a potential find
