If these were going to be released next week then surely there would have to be an entry on the BBFC website demonstrating that they had been submitted for classification? Forgive me if I am wrong, but like every other film/TV show, wouldn't these episodes need to be submitted for classification - even if it is for download? Nope. If it's online only, you don't need to go through the BBFC at all. You can if you want - and you MUST for DVD/BluRay - but for online only, you absolutely don't need to. Netflix do, because they want to be seen to be playing nice, but no, there's no legal requirement for them to do so. www.telegraph.co.uk/technology/internet/9929070/BBFC-has-persuasion-job-over-online-ratings.html

Poor Paul Vanezis. He must have been left out of the loop to know nothing about all this. Because he definitely wouldn't have told a fib, we all know that. Oh dear.

Other than the intense discussion ongoing for 6 months now? Well that is what I am asking, some are saying it is 90+ others are saying no its around 10 Everything I heard is in the the neighbourhood of 88+. I've heard nothing to change this, and those that were predicting the upcoming announcement earlier today, before it came out, also seem to think in that range. On the other hand, I hadn't heard that some seem to think that Web isn't complete, and that one episode was missing, until today. Though Paul Vanezis commented here cryptically weeks ago that Web wasn't complete ... if only one knew what he was talking about; I think most assumed he was talking about missing censor cuts, rather than a missing episode.

Am I not correct in thinking he is not allowed to say anything before an announcement anyway? That is certainly how I remember 2011 or have I got this wrong?

One last thought before I go to bed-after all the leads, tortuous research, depressing documentaries and recovered episodes over the last 30 years, this is without doubt,if it happens to be true,to be most downright ridiculous twists in the history of missing Dr.Who episodes ever. But it makes me think of Sue Malden's remark in the original missing episodes documentary from 1998-'we know that they're out there but recoveries have begun to dry up'.I always thought that was such a strange remark.Did she predict this event all those years ago?

The Radio Times says previously lost stories, so that could mean Galaxy 4, Underwater Menace 2, even Tomb of the Cybermen.
Still no proof that this has anything to do with any mythical finds that 'big wigs' of Who have already said are rubbish claims - and have said for months.
The PR bod today said on Twitter it was rubbish.

Always thought Power would be the biggest contender for the rumoured recoveries but it would be wonderful to have anything at this point. Not sure why anyone would think that. Obviously, as most people who know me would say, I'd love The Power of the Daleks to come back more than any other but... I personally think it's one of the least likely ever to be seen again. Only three sales and two physical copies out there? No, for my money either The Web of Fear or The Enemy of the World are far more likely contenders. Hell, I can even see The Space Pirates as having a better chance of survival than many others... But, back to recent news: Strewth! I'll have to wait until Thursday to catch this news...

Some one posted somewhere they were found in Hong Kong as the archive was physically searched this time, yet the post says Africa. Still only 2 days to go, tomorrow will seem like forever.

On the issue of posting on iTunes without fanfare or promotion.... didnt David Bowie do that earlier this year? Yep, and it created a great deal of press for him. Just sayin......
