Not to spark rumours or conspiracy theories or anything, but the majority of the DVD elements for the Terror of the Zygons were cleared in July 2012, with a couple additional items cleared since then. Yet even now, mere days before the official release of the DVD, Ed Stradling's "Scotch Mist in Sussex" doc appears nowhere on the BBFC site. Does this mean that everything winds up on the BBFC site? Or that some things slip through the cracks and end up getting added later and/or retroactively cleared?

The latest DW magazine's review of the Terror DVD lists it as one of the main extras so I should imagine it's present.

Anyone know what the trailer is on The Tenth Planet DVD? I can't find it anywhere on the BBFC. They're usually listed.

Something appears to have gone wrong with the BBFC's extras listing for "Terror of the Zygons" in a recentish update to their website-- the names of the items were truncated, and "Scotch Mist in Sussex" was left off "Tape 2" entirely. (Compare the runtimes for the tape and for the individual components, and you'll see a gap that matches the length of the making-of.) But they were in the listing originally, which is how the Doctor Who News Page was able to post an article about the extras being passed around the time it happened.

It's for The Moonbase. It was made months ago and is only made up of actual footage from Episodes 2 and 4, as a result.

Could the BBC be holding on to these missing episodes aftar all these years in there bbc valt ? Not in a vault in the way you mean, no, but it wouldn't surprise me at all if a few missing things were found during the TV centre clear out that had been sitting there forgotten for a few decades (not that I have any knowledge of such a thing, you understand - I don't want to add another layer to the rumours! ). When I first heard they were moving. I was sad (quite an iconic building) then I thought bet you they find a few things.... The ABC in Sydney did.

It's been commented on by recipients of the preview discs. The Tenth Planet extras were classified on Aug 16th, a month before the change in the schedule to put Moonbase after Tenth Planet. So it can't be Moonbase on the TP DVD. The question remains - I'm just intrigued.

There's one way of knowing for sure... If the DVD will have a Coming Soon trailer at all. It says it will, but it'll probably be for UM if Moonbase is already on Zygons (which I believe, since it happened with Ice Warriors on the Aztecs SE DVD). I was among the overly excited people when the rumours started; even though I tried in vain to convince myself it was unlikely, I keep leaping to inform my own friends about nonsensical announcements and such. Now, however, I'm trying to expect the worst. If there ARE no episodes recovered, we have three ways to enjoy the episodes that we don't have: CDs, Loose Cannon and the Tele-Snap magazines. Though, it's the snaps that intrigue me the most, especially now I have a habit of making my own for episodes that didn't have them... I know, I'm a bit sad that way. But at least it's keeping me from worrying too much about these rumours!

both Zygons and Tenth planet have coming soon as Moonbase. Only clips from eps 2 and 4 no animation or missing ep footage. Sorry to disappoint you all.

So it is the same trailer on both DVD releases? Doesn't sound that unusual really if that's the case.

That story is from weeks ago. It also says that a trailer will be on the Zygons DVD. With that release only days away, surely we'd have been flooded by reports of a trailer by those who have the advance copies.
Not sure why this insanity continues ...
